I believe that if you are really into drones and want to have a good time, you should own a mini drone and a larger one for different occasions. The mini se is a good drone to pick up as your first drone and then later on you can buy something like the mavic air 2s or whatever is out.
I just got the mini 2 se last week. Battery I would say is amazing for something that literally weighs less then a basketball. I ve been in my backyard and have taken it out 2km 500m to the downtown area. At that point my signal starts getting weak due to hundredof houses buildings and trees. Would say the one thing I hated most is that the batteries have to be charged in the drone unless you get the fly more or charging pack for charging batteries while you are out flying and it makes it that much better not having to constantly ground your drone to charge.
They just released the newer version, which is the Mini 2 SE. But I actually still think the original SE is still worth picking up (especially on sale or second hand).
@@ColbyMayHittingyou’ll be alright. You can make a new account with drone. You just can’t bound drone to new account. should still be able to fly with no problem tho.
Seriously such a waste of money anything over $100- 150 maxxxx…. This is a terrible recommendation. Buy a used mini pro if anything if youre so broke trying to “save money”.
I have this drone btw, And i also have the mini4pro with rc 2 controller. Trust me as aggressively and unfriendly my statement may be, it’s your choice at the end of the day. The facts aren’t friendly or unfriendly they should speak for themselves.. have fun flying.
Buy once cry once.. being poor actually costs you more money.. buying all the cheapest things and bragging about how frugal you are, then complaining about life. If you saved to buy the version that will last for at least a few great years, vs buying some old junk that will crash every 5 minutes.. you’ll end up either a saving yourself a lot of time and wasted money in the long run not to mention avoiding the aggravation, or B, you pay way more than the junk is worth. Probably used and already with some issues or even if you happen to find one new, then firmware not even still supported and zero obstacle avoidance etc End up crashing and not even at square one. Now your down even more cash before you even start over…. There is nothing to learn. In flying these things. If your that concerned with poor motor skills pick up a video game. It’s literally the same controls…. There is no skill in flying a drone hardly any. It should be second nature to anyone who’s played a video game at this point in time.. buy the mini4. Or on a budged pick up a mini 3 for Black Friday around the corner…. Dont waste money trying to save money on this junk…. Cant believe this video even exists. Im sorry to OP but just no. Absolutely no.
@skyking9248 I think you missed the point bud. Get a cheap toy drone so you can learn how to control it and potentially break it before you invest in a decent drone. Not everyone has $300+ to spend on a drone that they don't know how to control and might break right away.

Couldn't agree more!
That's literally the $60 drone I have that your holding in that small clip the DJI mini se completely changed my mind on drones haha
I have the mini 2 se..only thing I hate it's the battery..everything is good to practice with this one....

I had the mini 2 se for 3 months so far as I am a beginner and might eventually be an FAA licensed FPV drone pilot one day
Nice!
Great info mate!
Glad you think so!
I wonder if the price is going down with its age or if it's getting upgrades

What if the second hand has another account? @@NickKendall

I think the cheap toy drones are a good start for people to learn how to control a drone. Then drop $300+ once you can control the cheap one.
100% agree!

Right! I was thinking the same thing. If you are too poor to buy a Lamborghini then why drive.
@xdodgerblue82x you sound poor! Don’t drive a Honda until you can afford a Lamborghini.
