    I had a chance to test both MOZA R5 and T-GT II on F1 22 on PC at a shop in Singapore. What you're describing is exactly what I experienced. Granularity in the FFB even when the power is turned down to something you would actually set for daily use, direct reaction to your wheel inputs etc. After testing both wheels at lower power -50% and then 40% gain on the R5 and 50% gain on the T-GT II, bought the T-GT II despite it not being DD.

    Worth every cent for me, never had such an amazing experience, I have T150, T300rs, Logitec 920, g29 and g923... this is by far the best wheel on the market, specially for GT7. Although I did decide to upgrade the brake system. I've lowered my records for as much as 6 seconds right out the box (well with a little adjustment period of about 20min)

      I’ve been thinking the same. Although for a very near price you can get the GT DD pro they’re bundle is always out of stock. Logitech have released their direct drive wheel but it’s price is around £1400 for the wheel and pedals (which incidentally they’ve increased twice from £1200 in the two weeks it’s been out), I personally think the Logitech g pro is overpriced compared to the competition.
      I might end up getting T-GT2

  • @barang23
    @barang23 Год назад

    I had the chance to try out the moza w/wo the motion seat and also the gt2.
    I bought the gt2.
    I feel that when the force is too strong, you will feel exhausted after a few games. It’s not enjoyable.
    Unless I’m going for real car competition or games competition utilizing these rigs, I feel that gt2 is good.
    Also tried the g923. It’s really noisy and flimsy feel.
    So GT2 is a good between.
    Paid sgd890 for it.
    And I’m good with the original pedals.
    I’m sitting on a sofa and with the original pedal, when pressing the brake fully, I tend to shift on my sofa. So if u have a loadcell brake, you will probably need to buy those bucket seat.

  • @boxboxbox624
    @boxboxbox624 2 года назад +5

    I recently upgraded from the G29 to the T-GT II and T-LCM pedals also. The difference is night and day. I always hated that "cogging" I got with the G29 although the wheel is so darn consistent and reliable. If you go into your controller settings from options (not T-LCM but PS5 controller) and turn the rumble effects to max, you'll feel different rumbles in your feet which is very immersive and I found myself driving on the shoulders and rumble strips just to feel it! I also added the shifter which is very heavy being mostly metal and makes the Logitech shifter very toyish. All up, I invested $1,300 AU into the TM system and it's worth every cent. I intend to change the wheel with the Ferrari add-on wheel in the future. 😁

      The DD Pro isn't the same price in our neck of the woods. The difference for me was a lot when adding load cell brakes and a shifter. Not to mention months of waiting for the DD Pro and also their hardware reliability issues, which they are slow to respond to, time spent in returns, repairs or replacement and going without during that time. TM are available everywhere without the issues mentioned. I did a lot of homework before settling on the T-GT II (pack... no pedals), T-LCM pedals and the shifter.

      As long as your fanatec stuff works well it's fine. I sold all my fanatec stuff about 3 years ago because of super bad support. When they released the dd with 5nm with the "additional" 8nm power supply, they gave me the rest. I'd never buy fanatec again. Unfortunetly they deliver good but overpriced products (as long as it works and it's available on their crappy homepage) and licensed ps5 sim racing gear. As a ps5 owner you're quite lost 😂

  • @alpha007org

    For Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals I highly recommend 3drap elastomer mod. It transforms brake feel so much, I can't describe it with words. Just, it makes using loadcell brakes "like they are supposed to be used." I know the shipping costs are insane for such a cheap product, so if you can, look around if you can find something similar. I heard you can use skateboard bushings, so you can DIY T-LCM and have much better experience.

      @@larsriemen9770 Maybe. But if you put just rubber, then ***I*** got the same feeling like I was pushing to a tennis ball. And I didn't like the feeling.
      Actually I installed their elastomer a little differently. I used Elastomer, Red Spring and a lot of spacers, so that spring was around 50% squeezed. Brake was engaged (showing) at around 20% when not pressed on. I made that as a deadzone, so it became 0%. It made the brake pedal more stiff with less travel, but you can feel the progressiveness. And you can do "tap" (10%) in the middle of the corner, or 80% so that you don't lock the brakes.
      Anyway, there are some "skateboard bushings" that people claim make them very similar to heusinkveld sprints. I personally didn't try this. But if it works for people, more power to them.
