The fact that Chamber can fill the role of weapons supplier fits so well with his lore as a custom weapons designer/dealer.

Chamber seems like the perfect all-round agent. Can't wait to see him being used with some creative strats in pro play. Hope he doesnt get neglected in agent select though cause even tho you can't really use him in a conventional sense, he can be used very creatively and tactically

Well. Not perfectly well rounded. He has very strong defensive power, map wide influence much like cypher or astra, and bonuses to overall economic efficiency. But he is weak when pushing solo, reliant on winning duels without advantage (though he can use his teleport to avoid a failure or success being capitalised on). No active distuption (killjoy nades, sage slow field), no cover (unlike cypher's cages or sage's wall), and no teammate affecting utility (ie nothing in his kit benefits teammates. Cypher can give cover through cages or give allies wallhacks on a single target via his darts. Sage can heal allies HP. Killjoy... uh. Killjoy has the same problem, lets move on). If you want to see a well rounded character, a true generalist, take a look at Omen. Smokes? Check but not the strongest. Map wide impact? Eh, mostly but with limitations. Initation? He can blind enemies but its range is limited and they can see you if you get close though they are deaf which can be quite nice for getting knife kills. Mobility? Teleport, but short range and reliant on geometry. His ult lets you collect intel, or go for a cheeky flank, or regroup near instantly, etc. Omen is a true Generalist. He can do just about everything but is far from the strongest in any one catagory.
@@theoreminegaming Hmmm yea I get what you mean with that he doesnt have much supporting utility while pushing but I kinda disagree that he cant take duels well cause if you're confident with your aim and you're hitting good shots being able to teleport out of a fight whether hitting or whiffing your shots seems like the perfect duelist tool. Ig all he misses from a "dueslist" kit is some flashes for initiation as you said even omen had. But he still seems quite all rounded cause even on attack he can still hold the flank (sentinal role), go for an aggressive pick and tp out (duelist), hold an angle lets say holding CT spawn with this op the whole time which if hes hitting his shots could even be better than just smoking that angle off (controller) and yes i agree nothing much to really initiate or entry (other than maybe some aggressive alarm bots to get little info but yea thats not too helpful). But yea he does seem a lot more like a solo type agent rather than one that fully depends on team play or is mainly supportive type like Astra. Also what you said about omen does make a lot of sense ig the only thing you missed from him is that hes super fun to use :))

I think Chamber is gonna be meta on Breeze the same way that Sage is on Icebox. His entire kit screams “Take fights at long range”

Chamber is definitely a sentinel. Cypher has traps and kj has bots which watch the flank/site entrance. Well chamber IS the bot, he can watch both flank and attack with his team, he can protect site A and go to Site B almost instantly. Chambers kit really makes sense when you look at Valorants definition of a Sentinel, rebranding what your image of a sentinel is.
And it all falls apart when you miss the shot.

I'm loving chamber so far, he is so fun to use while also having a lot of chances to pull big brain plays and improvise. Definitely going to be playing him for the forseeable future

Honestly oping sentinels are OP tho, when i use kj I usually lock down a site with my utility and hold a flank with the OP, while my team can bunch up at the other site

Even though i hate Chamber instalocks, i do like the concept of Chamber being a Sentinel. Valorant would be Rainbow Six:Siege if all Sentinels kit are like Killjoy/Cypher
Eh don't worry people who are playing chamber right now are on hype nothing more, more dedicated Sentinel users who don't throw by pushing past their own utility are going to be decent for the team.

@@keonkla hmmm not really i replaced jett with chamber so i can fill the sentinel role while playing aggressive, ur not throwing unless u dont place chamber’s tp to easily go back to safety, trust me it’s not all hype the agent is op af (just my opinion but i respect yours as well)
chamber seems like a very position based sentinel since he has no real defensive utility (slow field is more of an area identifier) so he really depends on your aim skill level

@@colorzFX i think he means that he like the style of replacing at will and the overall kit abilities suits his style of gameplay but he is not perfect otherwise why wouldnt he be asuna or hiko so he wants to make his abilities more useful by watching pros

Yeah i feel like chamber is gun dealer on the team he already have good kit as duelist and sentinel he need some weapon for backup but not that much (if you have good aim)

The way I like to play chamber is to use one slow on a site entrance and then lurk using the other slow to clear corners

What about Shotgun Chamber playstyle, it´s like the OP playstyle, but with staying in a corner do 1-2 shots in close range and TP out safe.

Honestly Chamber's tp > Jett dash... and if you are smart enough to manipulate the two anchor points...you can cover more grounds by teleporting....you can be more aggressive with chamber using the OP than Jett, her dash is limited and if u mess up the dash, youre done for...however chamber is so hard to mess up the tp...one of my fav agro op strats is in the A site of icebox for defender...you can anchor 1 at heaven or screens and either push with the op on pipes, front maze, or even on belt
I have been playing economy chamber since he came out and I think its the optimal way to play him.
i think chamber is the best for managing your training your aim literaly. this agent helped me alot coming back from valorant
yo this video gives me confidence in my game sense as Hiko's setups are almost exactly the same as the ones I've come up with. never watched a "chamber setups" video or anything, just kinda made some good setups up on various maps. woohoo
Yeah I love chamber, switched up from Sage as my main, I play low MMR as I play casually, I've played at a higher level in the past, I just found that as Sage I was constantly trying to defend and the utility spend is large so you are always playing at a cash deficit and when your duelists are constantly terrible you just cannot carry hard enough and are constantly trying to retake as they start avoiding your site, I've been playing Chamber mostly and using the Q style play and just doing lots of sheriff deathmatch, i've gone from being the poorest to the richest on the team and top fragging
same i recently switched from being a sage main to a chamber main, and i love it so much i feel more free playing chamber and i've improved so much, as opposed to being restricted by my team mates when i would play sage
I mean chamber beccoming a gun buyer for hos team kinda falls into his character, hes a gun maker and dealer so him being a gun shop is kinda ironic
I dont think theres a way to word it better than what you said. The player completely interprets the correct way to play chamber based on their own ideas and playstyles.

I think This Agent will become a astra but the opposite of it he is will be highly pick on pub but pro sense maybe not because he not really good sentinel base on my experience, as a sentinel role for me he's on a bottom list and base on what i've seen on pro's kj and cypher is the most picked because they have a good util locked down a site and to prevent enemy to get on the site easily,but the good thing about this is chamber will became a really really strong agent on pubs.

I bet the first nerf will be that his teleport circles will be visible to enemy team. He can’t just have an omen teleport every 30s or whatever. There has to be a visual Q like yoru.
Or they will make it so he has to get kills to use his teleport more than once a round.
Probably only gonna increase the charge time bcs he is a Sentinel not duelist so kills wouldnt make sense
you can already see his anchors and have a visual cue (he turns yellow) when he can tp. they might nerf the cooldown though
i think his next nerf would be his op being changed to where it cant one shot to legs anymore

To sum it up he is a Cypher and Jett mixture
As an Omen main and Deagle/AWP player in CS 1.6/CSGO, i felt right at home with Chamber with his big brain teleport plays and full access to a pseudo guardian/Operator as skills. Hope it doesn't get flash nerfed due to people complaining.

Right now chamber is broken , because his "trip wires" or "slows" are way too strong . It gets activated even when you can't see/hear it (too big radius) , and it's effect is way too strong (like sage's slow X 2 ) .... One shot sniper and again it creates way too strong "slow field" , trading kills is impossible .

Is it worth buying headhunter tho? I mean if you buy all the bullets it's literally a sheriff with right click aim and 2 more bullets ready but no backup bullets, same price
but headhunter is better man. The damage doesn't change even if is long or short-range, even 100m is still insta-kill(headshot)

In context of Chamber in pro play, I am a little worried about the potential utility you will be losing if you choose to play him over a dedicated sentinel like cypher/kj.
I think pros would have him fill a duelist slot instead of a sentinel slot, so you'd still have a kj/cypher. he seems REALLY strong as a duelist, and double-op (jett + chamber) comps would be fairly popular imo. can't wait to see him in the vct tho, he seems to rock the entire meta

The double duelist meta is long gone in pro play, so I think that chamber will be a bridge between the sentinel and duelist role. Taking for instance Astra, Sova, Skye, Sage, Jett, which is the meta for ascent, switching the sova or skye (preferably sova) for chamber would probably be the direction pro teams take it. You might also see a complete rework of the agent select meta to accomodate the double op, maybe even using a breach or kay/o to help with more flashes. I could even see a world where pro teams only run the chamber as their sentinel, seeing that he does have the two traps to watch two choke points, while the rest of his utility is really his own technical skill. I think it would be fascinating for players like Nitro and Dapr to start playing Chamber, considering how their mechanical skill would gel so well with Chamber's kit.

So far every chamber ive played with has botfragged and missed all ult bullets. Cant wiat 4 people 2 adjust 2 his style and start getting them wins.
In my opinion as a new chamber main. Chamber is the best agent by far for me; since he can watch flanks and enter a site with his team when attacking. However, when the enemy team has Kay/o, especially a good kay/o player, chamber is pretty much useless.
Btw one thing that I haven't seen when someone plays chamber on attacking round is placing his alarm bot (trademark) into the corners or areas where most players hide when defending in that way I can buy my team some time to enter a site (in that case a duelist). But, idk it's just my opinion I'm not that high ranked player I just love chamber hehe.
I've found it weird how many people are trying to say he's similar to a duelist. Being a good fragger != being a duelist. Duelists are meant to entry into sites and take first contact. Chamber really can't do that easily. He doesn't have smokes or flashes or anything that lets him get into site. I wonder how pros will use him and if they will even use him because he doesn't have the amount of utility that KJ and Cypher have.
@@beegest_yoshi Yeah, but not really on attack side. He has to set up a TP in order to take first contact, which isn't as viable on attack. Jett has dash and smokes to entry with. Chamber has nothing like that. His TP is more limited in that regard
I'm really not a fan of headhunter. It feels like it just doesn't fit as a whole. It's either really good or really bad
Chamber should still be banned from Spikerush though...
I like to play with him, but it's just to OP to have his weapons in a game with random loadouts.
It's like playing against bots as their weapons cant even reach you with enough damage and you will just be like 'k bye'. x)

This agent is perfect, but not broken, the C is perfect, the Q go with the C to easy kills, the E to go back, and the X to hold.
Is not broken, is other way to play, and this way meta, if you are agresive, you'll have the control of the match, is tactic basic...
The agents broken the C (Trap) should have range having the ability to hard rotate with one shot guns and still have util on other site shouldn't be allowed because as long as chamber knows where you are, your basically dead. His Q ( Pistol ) is 100 creds for a one shot head shot in any range (Note: All pistols and even the phantom cant one shot headshot) atleast make each bullet more expensive (Personal Experience: I ran chamber pistol only and I still got 32 and I could drop guns to my team and buy guns for them too). The E ( Teleport ) is way too quick I like it how it requires you to be close to your first anchor and be in range of the anchors for you to teleport but its WAYYYYY to quick, even quicker than yoru if a SENTINEL have better escape utility than an actual DUELIST, it doesn't really make sense. The X ( Sniper ) you have quicker scope speed and movement speed than an op but with the same one shot body shot as an op and its also free, combo that with your E ( Teleport ) you basically have a free OP thats quicker and your unpunishable because of your teleport.
And before yall say low elo opinion or sum im immo 2 rn and peak radiant with 200rr
chambers great and all but his head hunter sucks. like of all the sentinels hes the only one with a "not gonna use this util" most of the entire half.... i prefer his headhunter can be pick between a sheriff headhunter and a shorty headhunter...same with the sheriff headhunter.. instead of functioning as guadian in a price of a sheriff ...it will function as a judge in the amount of a bucky(but slower fire rate so its balanced.) that way the headhunter do feel neglected in buy rounds and will create a dilemma between buying a shorty or using headhunter
