Thank you for saying that. I have told people the gospel, but never seen them believe in Jesus or change their mind about believing on Jesus for salvation is without work of the flesh. I was worried that it wouldn't count as fruit if they don't ever come to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

The proverb "He that winneth souls is wise" was penned 1000 years before Jesus.. so evidently they were winning souls in the time of soloman. Daniel said "they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as bright as the firmament" 500 years before Jesus. I always find it interesting how the consistency of the message is

The only difference between them and the Arminians, is where they place the works, but both definitely teach a false "gospel" of works. But the Arminians would really get heartburn from this message indeed.

I'm a member and also an employee of Yankee's church and can assure you that we do indeed laugh at Yankee's jokes, even ones we've heard before, and yes, I agree with you that the step ladder joke was funny. The reason you're not hearing the congregation's laughter more than you do is because the only audio source you hear on these videos comes from what is picked up from the headset microphone he is wearing which is more of a directional mike geared for his voice, although it will pick up some external ambient sounds also, although only faintly. If you are wearing headphones and turn the volume all the way up, you can hear the laughter to some degree here, but unfortunately, not at all like what it's like when being there live in person. So please realize that what you hear on these videos is not a full true representation of what it sounds like live being in the congregation. As a congregation, we have been very blessed to have had Yankee as our pastor for the past 11+ years since the passing of our former and founding pastor, Dr. Hank Lindstrom in 2008, who was also Yankee's close personal friend for many years since their Florida Bible College days together back in the 60's. Some of his material is here on RUclips as well. Just do a search using his name. There aren't many churches these days where someone can get such solid and doctrinally sound Bible teaching week after week as we do and we know just how rare it is to find pastors and churches who "rightly divide the word" as well as Yankee does, especially now that we are neck deep into the Laodicean church age. Christ died for our sins! Are you saved in the Lord Jesus Christ? Your good works doesn't pay for your bad works, you need a 'payment' for your sins and that is Jesus Christ. You cannot do it alone, Jesus Christ paid it all for you, the only thing you have to do is 'believe' in what He did for you on the cross of Calvary. Jesus Christ is the only cure for sin, so please believe in what He did, His death, burial and resurrection - found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, saves lost souls when you truly believe from your heart. Ephesians 1:13, saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, there is no other way. Please get saved now, time is running out!! Eph. 2:8-9 and Titus 3:5

All believers abide in Christ. All unbelievers do not. It's impossible for a believer to not be in Christ. The spirit lives in the believer.
