Washing hair:
1. Flip upside down
2. Wet
3.shampoo roots (scratching and massaging scalp)
4. Rinse still upside down
5. Apply conditioner to ends and work product up until all detangled
6. Finger-comb only
7. Let conditioner sit
8. Cup small amount of water in hand and rinse sections (still upside down)
9. Hair should feel silky like seaweed
10. Apply alot of gel smoothing on top, bottom and sides of hair
11. Scrunch from botton
12. Gently flip over
13. Gently towel dry
14. Using diffuser blow dry a little bit
15. Air dry rest
No brushes. No combs.
No washing:
1. Run wet fingers through hair to detangle
2. Smooth a little conditioner in
(Or throw up in a messy bun- CAN ONLY DO 1 TIME OUT OF 5 DAYS)

To be fair, they had different hair lengths, which means shorter hair will feel nastier faster with a lot of product in it.

Literally curly haired people (me) are always looking to try new products/routines to help define curls or what works for them I've been trying to fine the right products/routine for 20 years now 😂
Sara's hair looks amazing by the end of the experiment, her curls look beautiful, bouncy and defined. She should definitely carry on with some of Megan's routine.

I really appreciate the curly videos, I just recently started wearing my natural curly hair and it’s nice to see what different routines other curly haired people have!
I just realized that my sister doesn't know how to properly care for her curly hair. She has very defined big curls. They're not as small as theirs. I can't say I have seen someone with the same curly hair as her. People often think she curls her hair. She is the only one in the family with curly hair so no one has told her how to care for it. She could be quite insecure about her hair at times. I noticed that her curls are starting to be less defined.
you should send her this video! proper care with hair masks/hair products+ techniques (like Megan's upside down rinse) will make a huge difference
I had this exact problem growing up. My mom has thin, flat, blonde hair. I have curly, thick, brown hair. She didn't know how to care for it, so in turn I never learned. She blow dried my hair regularly when I was younger, so my hair was always just this weird wavy poofy mess and I hated it. This year I really began to learn how to care for my curls. I think my curl pattern is a little messed up from the years of brushing, but they've definitely gotten better. Definitely send this to your sister!

If you celebrate Christmas, get her some products as a gift! Get some tutorials for her and print them up. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, give it to her anyways, I’m sure she deserves/needs it.

Yesss. I love these videos so much because growing up I never knew what to do with my hair. My mum had straight hair and so she never knew how to take care of my hair either. This resulted in years of damaging my hair and not even realising it. I’ve been trying to help my hair get back to it’s bouncy curls, but it’s hard to figure it out on my own. If anyone has any tips, it would be really helpful x. ♥️

Well, people from different climates will think of the cold differently. I'm from Texas and while I don't find 70° cold at all, a lot of people start losing their minds when it gets below 75°.

I’m a swimmer and I go out side when it’s negative degrees outside while my hair is wet and my hair freezes and it’s really fun to crunch

So I have naturally very very straight hair but I use a lot of the tips that Megan uses in her routine. I have never had so much volume before!!! Washing your hair upside down makes such a difference. What I do after I finish washing my hair (when its still dripping wet) is dry it with a t-shirt just until it stops dripping so much, and then I put it into a bun on the top of my head for an hour or so, and then I take out the bun and use a blow dryer on a cool setting to completely dry it. I get so much volume and it feels so smooth and velvety I LOVE it!

I tried a little mixture of megans and saras hair routines and my curls have never looks better! I lost alot of my curly texture due to heat and just not taking care properly and I'm so happy after seeing this!

Straight hair is sooooo easy to manage. I know because I relaxed my hair while back. Yeah literally all you have to do is brush. Then your hair will be neat and perfect. Even AFTER a windy day, just brush it and it’ll be back to normal. CURLY hair on the other hand needs more maintaining and you have to be really careful with it.
My hair grew out and now it’s back to curly. I love it though now, like the volume 😝

Well African hair like my hair is curly but really curly and I mean curly to the point where it's tangled all the time the curls can be brushed but it will stay curly and tangled which is why we braid it or put a weave in some people get a perm some stick with it and put in a pom pom pony tail

To me, it looks like Megan's routine causes more weighed down, but shiny hair (probably the gel and Sarah's gives more voluminous hair (though it made Megan's hair just a little frizzier).
I have to have my hair up in a bun for work so I only get to do my hair curly on days off or weekends and I never put Gel in my hair I use creams and oils lol and I let it and dry and wash it once a week maybe I'll do conditioner more then shampoo some times I'll go 2 weeks without shampoo

SheaMoisture coconut and hibiscus shampoo is what I used for years. It works great for me. Hair One Cleanser and Conditioner with argan oil (which I think is sold only in Sallys or amazon). Sulfate-free is what works for me. I only comb it in the shower with a really wide shower comb to distribute evenly and let it air dry. I do have a silk pillowcase from amazon for $10 and it doesn't make my hair frizzy.
Could Megan give us a full tutorial on how she does stuff? Like products and tips, a complete run through because I want my hair to look like that
