Good vlog mate. Ive been to Savannakhet a few times, last stayed at Fundee GH for 2 nights (visit to the Thai consulate). It's a pretty quiet place, not a great deal there for foreigners if not for the consulate but some times quiet is good. Very easy to get around, wide flat streets with little traffic. The locals are so welcoming and friendly - like the rest of Laos 😊

Hi Todd, Now , i like that town ALOT! Looks very colonial with a few modern touches. I kinda liked that it didnt appear to be chineseified yet. Hell,, leave the lights off and maybe theyll miss it. Lol. I had to lol when Uncle was giving you the tour of the familiy home. I knew you were a bit buzzed up and he was jabbering at you like you knew every Lao word. Yet , the 2 of you were communicating perfectly. He must be one tough old guy, because the ammount of work he acomplished outside is amazing. Thanks again,my friend for taking us on a fun adventure. I do agree with you about the mansion ,, kind of sterile,, not really a homey feel to it. Glad you and Neenee had fun. Ttyl ,,, Marlon
