At 2:08, the little girl said, "shoot it far, he's taking a video of you!" Haha... This marble game was THE GAME for many young Hmong USA children who grew up in the 80's and 90's
Thank you for capturing such an awesome video! Definitely appreciated by us Hmongs in the US. We’d love to go back and visit or just see how their lifestyle is now. I’m so glad the Hmong people is more and more known of throughout the years.
I greet you, Mr. Todd and also your wife. You are nice people and do something special. I wish you all happiness and enjoy your trips.
I love how you explore the hmong village it really opens up to me on how my folks live back then, often hear stories only and see videos of the homes but never an whole out adventure.

I had already been visiting the caves in Vieng Xai and the area in 2018. People there were very friendly, it is nice place to visit. Thank you or sharing, From U.S.A
Wow I just started to watch your videos awesome job I love it 👍👍👍I am 58 I am retiring in just about two months. I was returning to Vietnam to retire. Now you got me thinking about Lao what an amazing country and the people seem to be outstanding 🙏👍 great job sir 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for recording this. It brought tears to my eyes to hear the young man explaining how his family could not afford to fix his shoulder at a doctor.
I love your interactions with the people... I’ve been following you for 1-2 years now and your Lao is improving, you can say more and form sentences ...awesome vlog.
Hey Kiane 👋 I think you'll find you've help support this channel longer than that. Probably closer to 3 years, and thank you so much for continuing to watch 🙏 Improved a little, not as much as I'd like.. it's proving to be a little more difficult than I anticipated. Plus I'm not devoting the time required either to learn 🙄😏 I hope you've been well. Thanks again 🙏
Thank you sir for showing my people's village and lifestyle back in Laos. I live in the USA now but I would love to go visit this village someday in the future.
New subscriber here. Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog and the picture quality is exceptional. Crossed over into Loas at the golden triangle from Thailand for a short visit but your vlogs on this country will have me returning for an extended visit. I've met and have become great friends with four couples originally from Loas and now residing in Toronto Canada, you cannot find more beautiful and kind people then Loas. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Hey Brian.. thanks mate, and welcome aboard. Be sure to hit me up if you have any questions. Let's hope things improve quickly so everybody can get back to traveling.. Cheers mate 😁👍

Great video.. not to many visitor goes places like you and Neenee showing how people live.. it’s very refreshing.. the kid playing out side not sitting inside and play with phone..the baby with squirrel that scare me.. foods look delicious.. you guy are so relaxed.. wish I was there.. loved the view of those mountain it is beautiful.. thank you for great video as always...
Love it! We hmong people live with our animals. The life is simple and peaceful. Thanks again for sharing! Love how you and your wife brings smiles to everyone. Thanks for the polite engagements with the locals.
The best thing about living in Laos is life is simple. But the problem is that the world is changing fast. Laos is changing slowly. The country is still very much poor. Only 5% of the Lao population have internet access. Most Lao people never touch a computer before. Compare that to the neighbor countries. Laos is doing terrible.
@@OS253 I don't think so, They have better internet than in the US I believe because almost every single person has iPod or smart phone. They also have access of internet far from the city as well. Thank you my man again your game is strong these videos are like being right there with you and NeNe and that part with the little guy playing with that squirrel just hilarious anyway thanks.
you're spot on about coming west from Viet Nam. We met a young english couple in Vieng Xai who bought a bike in VN and were making their way to Thailand on their honeymoon. Also, I preferred having a small bike for all the unpaved stuff. (we went Vang Vieng->Long Tieng->Phonsavan almost exclusively unpaved) Much easier to toss around when they slip. Saved me a couple times when I know I would have gone down on my own bike back home.

To be honest, I can't recall visiting an untidy Hmong village.. they have all been very neat and tidy such as this. 👌😁
I love clean places. For being mostly dirt and no pavement, it was fairly clean. Eco friendly village. I hate the areas with plastic trash everywhere.
