How can one separate emotions/feelings from experience? I do get the point, it is better to lead one's life with thought and not feelings. However, feelings are natural and if avoided, one might suffer the very same effects like anxiety and depression. It is advisable that one develops both their IQ and EQ because while most decisions require thought, a considerable number of them require feeling.
Exactly, I think it’s very difficult to separate feeling and emotion from experience. But I think Abba is trying to say, don’t let feelings become paramount. Because there needs to be a balance.
@@reportedstolen3603 I see, that does make sense. It is just that finding that balance can be challenging every now and then as one progresses through life.

Brother Give thanks for all the teachings and wisdom you give us. I have a question hoping you'll see this, I'm now 17 and I started as Rasta and I often you quoting His Majesty so I have to ask how are you able to know all these things by heart because I read about Haile Selassie but I forget what I read about including the quotes so can you please help me. Another thing I've been introduced to meditation, journaling and more , so I want to know what practises ancient Bantu did that we can do today to grow spiritually as Abantu and walk in the right path. You mentioned how we should let go of this "feeling" trend but I want to know how we can let go of these feelings because I tried for a long time but I would find myself angry and lustful that's why I asked for specific practises we can practice to walk in the right path, the path we were destined for. I hope my confusions will be clarified NguMasilela Lo uDlambili, uMajama ngezakhe abanye bajama kwezabanye and I'm proud to be umuntu and that's all thanks to you and your wonderful guests, so Give thanks.
