Yes Anne-Marie, I too have noticed that using option to copy an object in InDesign has become finicky. I thought it was me getting the timing wrong between pressing option and starting to drag. This is only since the latest update. Thanks for the great video.
I found that not all vectors can be exported in svg since complex vectors won't be displayed correctly and there is also a big problem with buttons since I can't change appeareance on rollover if is not a native path (eg. imported from Illustrator). So, this is a great tip but not for all the cases.
Super useful tip! Thank you :)

good point!
@@AMConcepcion it would be great if during the export to publish online we could convert vector paths to svg, also indicating which ones to convert.
Same question: why the svg changes colors?
I guess maybe the color-profile was different? She did skip the prompt in Illustrator
@@k.toffellampe869 yes, you're right, should be just a different color-profile.
So I see a significant issue with this. It changes the colors...
I think you'd need to test the color profile options when exporting to SVG in Illustrator.
it looks like its not working in Adobe InDesign 2018 -.-
SVG import didn’t come in until CC 2020.
