Excellent teacher, who flows naturally and logically from one thing to the next, but doesn’t miss the details and fully explains how to access each feature.
I've been working in ID for the last 8 years (mostly with text) and this video has shown me so many new options I wasn't aware about. I've always been dependent on PS to do most of the effects mentioned. It's a revelation to see it's also possible directly in ID. Thank you for this wonderful guide. I'll also check the PS masking one.
Nice video. I just want to mention that in 3:53 you can check the distance between frames in "Layout - Margins and columns - gutter" or dynamically: After making the grid, you select all frames with Selection tool and press and hold on one of the corners of the bounding box, then simultaneously hold down the SPACEBAR and drag. You can dynamically adjust the spacing between the frames. Add SHIFT to control the ratio of frames sizes.
TNice tutorials was honestly so helpful. I’ve been working around soft, whether it be church, singing in a band, or theatre for most of my life so tNice tutorials
Fellow subs and anyone who sees this, InDesign is SO powerful! I am a beginner and new entrepreneur but if you master the basics of this program it will help you greatly! Thank you Martin for all your excellent instruction/information! 🙌😎
Outstanding work. I am an architect who had NEVER used indesign and managed to put together a beautiful brochure for my *vastest (Edidted - *latest) project thanks to your tutorials! Well done!
Thank you for the very useful tutorial, for explaining several new options and special thanks for the very good articulation, so I could understand the English very well.
Thank you so much, I’m learning tNice tutorials in quarantine and you made it very simple I really appreciate it, thank you for going over every little
Very good tutorial. I'm using indesign for many years and I was frustrated that I cannot clip a frame in another frame or path. Thank you My question now is: when you paste ctrl alt v a frame in a frame, it keeps that first frame included or it transfers only the image within it? 2:30 Before I drew the path over an frame with image then drag and drop the image again from Explorer to the new path.
Awesome! U had no idea you could save masks or outlines within jpeg files! You should show us a tutorial on how you use these techniques to make a final product!
As always perfect video, thanks a lot! I have minor advice: 18:50 the alpha channel has to be choosen while importing the image. If you use the "clipping path" Indesign creates a new path which will be different to the original alpha channel (and by far not as smooth). :)
This is a great guide, though if you are using text and want to paste multiple images into a path, InDesign doesn't seem to allow that. I can only do this in Photoshop using layers and clipping masks. Is there a way to insert multiple images into a path made of text, layering them, resizing them, and moving them around however I would like? Or should I create this in Photoshop and then move it over to InDesign?
Thank you for tNice tutorials. SwitcNice tutorialng to soft from setupcraft and MascNice tutorialne is incredibly daunting and I didn't know where to start. I will definitely be
