Every one thinks that their product is superior.
What …
He’s supposed think, “ Our product is shit - and couldn’t, possibly,
stand up to the competition ? ”
Give me a break. It’s called : good ole, American, bargaining.
The biggest point people miss is that Fluid Film and others are not a one and done solution, they need to be sprayed every year. No "oil" mixes with water, it just loses effectiveness as it wears off.
I sprayed Amsoil HD Metal protector under my 2016 Tacoma when I bought it new in November of 2015. It's January 2024 (9 Ohio winters) - no rust!!! Places where I didn't coat did form rust by 2020. I stripped those areas to bare metal and used 2 part epoxy paint, then coated with AMSOIL HD MP and it looks like new going on 9 years.
Wow great! Just given an opportunity, could you make a video of it? Much appreciated. I had NHOU sprayed on a surface rust body and frame of my 2008 FJ cruiser and it rotted away in two years. Finally got rid of it.
Amsoil is my favorite
Let's hope it doesn't rust under the epoxy...

Same.
His special formula not available to consumers, but gentle enough to be applied while wearing a cheap paper mask . . . . So in a nutshell its just Krown .
Yeah it’s crazy this is his sales pitch such a turn off to hear a dude lie
It’s probably cosmoline followed up by an application of fluid film. Cosmoline is really good at preventing rust but doesn’t creep like fluid film, so I’m assuming they use both.
I see a lot of overspay and not protecting the vehicles paint 👎👎
krown is good stuff
Live in the mountains of south America . No undercoating no rust . Trucks 70 years old still great
Do you mind if we all move there?
Should have a tyvek coverall suit with hood and footies and a good 3m respirator on, and goggles and nitrile gloves.
One things for sure, their eyeballs and lungs aren't going to rust any time soon!!
Yeah they need a better respirator and goggles. That’s crazy spraying under cars with little safety
Was thinking the same thing
I use my own mixture of WD 40, fluid film, diesel fuel and a cup of used motor oil. Mix it and spray it.
Spread all the cancers to help make sure you don't outlive the car.
Spray on the wheels is crazy gotta tape um🥴
If you live in the Northeast Rustbelt, you can't afford not to have this done to your vehicle , unless you're rich. They earn every cent protecting and extending your vehicles life!!..... Oil-em or Lose-em...
Can you please show us examples of rust under oil/kerosene treatment after you pressure wash it? Tbh I have never seen rust under oil/kerosene!
Greetings from northern Vermont, the rust capital of the northeast. I've been applying hot Bar& Chain oil to my vehicles since 1997 and I can tell you it has saved my rides big time. My 1997 GMC K1500 Suburban is in great shape ,with only light surface rust under the dirt from our unpaved roads. Vehicles rust from both the inside and outside , so coating all enclosed suspention , frame and body panels is key.
@@thomasbartlett3409 How are you spraying it? I've used guns and it aerosolized it too much.
Adding any type of coating has to be a positive and can only help. You are okat selling your product but this is standard practice for any one in the same market
These guys are so cool. Down to earth and really willing to work with people. Even if it's got just a lil extra additives in it that you can't get people are gonna hate. If ur close just give it a try. You never know until you experience it. Until then your just talking shit. They are giving me a great deal. I'll leave a review afterwards.
Love how that worker is getting COVERED in chemicals all day everyday
No it's okay this is a special product 😂
I'm wondering why no one uses rustoleum paint for undercoating protection; it's been used for decades to coat metal. Seems to work great in my recollection, it's cheap and it doesn't attract dust like oils.
In the Northeast the problem is that type of product eventually chips and cracks and then it traps everything.
If you were like in the South that would work fine
Yep, looks great initially but comes off quickly when exposed to the elements. I know this from experience and had to redo a bunch of suspension parts that I'd initially primed and painted with Rustoleum, this time with POR-15 (and then only after following their 3 stage process that includes pretreatment with a phosphoric acid and zinc-based solution). Rustoleum is probably more suitable for stationary metal like fences and patio chairs.
@kovie9162 por15 will last double but then same thing. Just like a brand new Factory Echo there's nothing that's going to withstand the weather at all cracks and peels and some point.
Put a light layer of fluid film on top of what you did and you'll get much better results
@@steelcityoilundercoating6305 Thanks for the advice. It's only been a year or two but I'm always checking for chips and retreating them when I can, so moisture can't slowly seep under the rest and get trapped and create far more and worse rust than on exposed metal. But I did an incredibly thorough job of derusting then degreasing, treating and painting and so far it's mostly held up. Most videos I've seen skip or gloss over some steps. But I'll consider some sort of "oil" coating.
por 15 after 6 years failed and was rusted underneath and chipping on the roof my taco and it was painted because sunlight will break it down if not coated with layer of paint. .In my honest opinion fluid film every fall works excellent. 97 taco and 95 xj parked outside last 15 years has keeped the rot monster away from the undercarriage in NY salty streets.... just saying.@@kovie9162
Give us the link of the lab test results.
From what I’ve researched, cosmoline products seem to be a great product that adheres well and lasts a long time. Unless I’m missing something I’ll stick with that.
I wouldn’t trust this shop to do anything. It’s all BS. Do your own oil based undercoating but take proper precautions with all PPE. This guy obviously doesn’t care about his employees health or his own.
Buddy... your guys need to be wearing respirators!
Where is the PPE with these guys? No matter when profit is king.
Do you guys wash the entire vehicles before you do this? If you do then how do you spray this into a crevice that is soaked with water? Seems to me like that’s counter productive
wash the entire vehicle AND the underside on a jack, then towel dry if you want to do it sooner than later. let the car air out, then hit with spray.
A transmission fluid leak keeps ur car new for years! Install a can fill with trans fluid run little hoses under body and open valve. Go for a drive...
What haopens when you have a oil leak? Will you still notice?
What sulfinate is in the product.
do i need to water off the salt under my car before reaplly fiuld film
These guys won't rust till cancer sets in. Get them proper respirators for the job & PPE. You know P.ersonal P.rotection E.quipment so they don't die from a tumour.
What colors are available
wouldn't this stuff damage the environment when it washes down the drain? Also, seems like it would wash off easy.
My grandfather used old oil and kerosene on every new truck he ever had and they never rusted out! He did it every year! Undercoating is the thing that you never want to use! You're 100% wrong about oil and kerosene!
Never seen surface rust from "consumer product "
Might be a good place if you live around there.
Dude had a cheap ass mask no safety glasses but a hair net can't get that hair sticky
Rust Check has been around for many many years. I hightly doubt you reinvented that wheel. Just another "We are better than them" sales pitch.
maybe wear proper respirator Jesus Christ those n95 masks don't do shit
Loved the video, I will find and I hope to enjoy the service named here
I tell you this product is like no other it is the next generation rust inhibitor not available in 50 states I make it in my basement you'll never find nothing like it...... 😅... At the end of the day guys something is better than nothing.... This got a PhD in yapolgy!!!!
Canton, Ohio are suggestions??

What shutzs ?
this is pointless. some products are better than others, yes but there are many good ones, not one is better than everything else.
Its got 'stuff' in it they can't sell to the consumer. Obviously
You sound like a car salesman

Wow
Amazing! Too bad there's a Pacific ocean in between my car and you.
Cobble job 😅
👍⚾️
NHOU over your joke product 😂
Don’t like the guy!
Just spray paint it all lmfao.. all the new cars rust in Wisconsin either way
Surface Shield and Fluid Film applied bi-annually or annually, respectively, will stop the progress of rust and prevent it on new vehicles. Check out Repair Geek's undercoating series on RUclips. He and I live in the Snow Belt in Ohio where salt and brine kill vehicles in 10-15 years.
why dont they hire more blackpeople?
So what is it?
sounds great, but damn, use some better masks !!!!
