    I would love to see the leaks on that condenser. I always have a hard time with leaks on York.

    Get a GOSS GA-11 tip for your turbo torch . World of difference.great video

      I use the turbo torch for soldering. For brazing I use a brazing rig but it was empty.

    Any reason to not calculate additional refrigerant based on line set length and weigh it in?

      Because you can charge by subcooling. Idk how the lines were run inside the walls so I’m not gonna guess what the length is if I can be certain of the subcooling.

      I had two braze joints to make it’s a big waste of time to cook off a braze joint then slide the insulation over and braze the next. Putting split insulation on after is no big deal I’d rather do that always.

      Most manufacturers state clearly in the manual to “braze”

      @DCHVAC Never had an issue with SB8. However you should never use it on the lliquid line output directly connected to the compressor. Other key is to go very light on the flux and crimp the connection if the fitting is loose prior to soldering
