We have the identical unit at our church. We run into the same issue. Every 3 days it goes into lock out mode . About every 4 years We have changed out the flame sensor. It seemed have the right micro amps but it sloves our problem

Should that make up have a backflow devic?

You measure flame sense in series with the sensing wire and the connection on the board

Did the boiler come with a wiring schematic for you to trace out? I would have referenced that during the troubleshooting process. Good to see you posting again!

What a cluster. You only use two ignition modules when they are cascaded due to a long burner row which needs two pilots to safely light the main burner. In that case the first module lights the first pilot. When it proves, instead of lighting the main burner, it completes the limit to the second ignition module - which requires its own pilot solenoid valve. When the second pilot is lit and proven, it then powers the two redundant main gas valves. Bottom line, if that boiler was designed to operate with just one pilot, get rid of the second ignition module.

I just converted a oil forced hot air /ac system in Martha'svineyard Island man haha yea should have seen what i had to do to build duck work to connect new to old i was really surprised the mr cool system controls fan at thermostat . An its only 2 wire for heat and air and im way far away and can monitor and control .its pretty insane the technology you can hook so much shit up to these new units .we will see how long it lasts

Its also NOT a standing pilot. Its intermittent pilot just like a resi furnace.

boilers don't need low water cutoff. didn't have them for years. Just more to go wrong!

Have you pulled the low water probe out and cleaned it?

I have never seen a constant pilot with an ignition module? Shouldn’t that pilot solenoid be wired to pv? So the intermittent spark can operate? So sequence should be th 24 volts call for heat pv gets power flame sensor allows main gas valve. I’m I wrong?

ignition control to the right has its sensor wire directly grounded right? and the external pilot solenoid on the gas main seems to be constantly powered through the control making the control think that everything is okay?

Inducer noise, self tapping screws create metal scraps if used, to get through thick metal of adapter . Better to pull flue pipe off, and let it blow out. Have had them get into pressure switch tubing and create a callback

You are very lucky to have the ability to fire customers who behave badly. I find it amazing that you explained the initial charge for trip $115 and the hourly rate $25, it’s not like there was a separate diagnosis charge. I wasn’t expecting or maybe I didn’t hear the customer agreeing to an additional trip charge for same day part delivery. Saying you can get the part the same day is one thing but in my limited brain it doesn’t add up to an additional trip charge. Unless, you explain the terms and give me the option of getting the part today or waiting two weeks like the other contractor did. Obviously the customer needs to learn about courteous professional behavior and that honey is better when trying to catch flies than vinegar. I see similar behavior but it’s just beyond my understanding that some people who should be grateful for quick courteous and professional plumber and heating specialist are less important than the doctor or the dentist. The phone call at the end of the video was frankly shocking, I have to agree with Mike serving customers that behave badly is enough to make you crazy! Better to cut off the offensive customer and put them on the do not call list. Or maybe find a way to sell the list to the crappy plumbers so they can bamboozel the rotten customers and steal them blind!

Ours read 13.5 on ohm meter… does that mean we should replace the temperature sensor? If so, how do we do that? And what is the number of the part that we would need?

Have you ever had an evolution stick in ac mode while heating? Freezing up the line set big line.
