This is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I mean the drop at the beginning is considered to be the hardest marked ski run in north america, which is a SKI RUN, not to mention, the rest of the slope is still about a 40-45% pitch. WHICH IS REALLY FRICKEN STEEP ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG! Congrats!!! This is sick, and the already impressive footage doesn't do Corbet's justice (this is no statement on the photography, it is awesome...it is more that it always looks easier than real life). For anyone that has not been at the top of this run, it is insane. You can't tell by the pics, but sitting at the top it is a drop off the top towards that big rock wall on the left side to a blind landing spot...which you then have to immediately negotiate a right hand turn on a serious slope. Back in the day when I was a much better skier there was not much I wouldn't go down. The day I put my tips over the edge on Corbet's was one of those places where I said "no way". Riding it on skis or a board is hard enough, that is why it has the reputation it has earned. Bikes? Amazing. Bikes in the snow? Even more so. Great footage, great riding, keep it up!
LISTEN! My Son's 2 favourite things in the ENTIRE world are Skiing and Biking! he is going to loose his sh!t over this...and he is 3 so that is actually a possibility
That video and sound track coupled with two skilled bike riders and one skier was spell bounding. It looked like they were having fun and it was exciting to watch.
Absolutely breathtaking stunts and drone camera work. Gravity took a back seat while these madmen ran amok flying down those perilous vertical walls. You got a new subscriber out of me.
Sadly regulations, logistics and other things are gonna prevent that from happening for a long long time. For now, the Teewinot lift will have to do. They are already at capacity during the summer with the tourists. Imagine Whistler-esque crowds on top of that. No way :'( JH is already blown out so much, but I think it'd be awesome if they even used the gondie for MTB exclusive riding. But screw it, I know I'm never gonna want to shell out $$ for that, why not just ride the pass for free?
Capacity for Tourists .. seriously .. Man I stood in that line for 40 mins at -20°C how long do you reckon I'd wait in summer with my bike for a trail that long? How long did it take me to get to the top of Top of the Word? I get the fact that its a big undertaking but the lift is already running its already staffed. Alternatively Sweetwater. Build some epic Enduro single track (rather than fire trails with jumps) and people will come from the world over. Jackson Hole has such a massive opportunity.
+Aaron Markie I think they already have their massive opportunity with the four seasons resort and golf course. they make millions. I think the gondola for exclusive bike use would be the way to go. idk man I haven't been riding there in a while, maybe it's changed. people have been talking about this for years, there's gotta be a good reason it hasn't happened yet
saw the full movie at a ski team fundraiser two weeks ago ... when the segment started and they came out of the tram my first thought was ... 'oh no they aren't actually going to' ... and then they did! :-D was sitting with a novice skier who had never heard of Corbet's and their jaw was on the floor at the end, nicely done TGR!
Dopest video I have ever seen. TGR makes the best ski videos. Been following u guys since the Sage Days.... Where is Sage that dude inspired me to go out west and go for it. Been 7 yrs strong doing so. Keep dopeness coming.
I’ve been skiing on the same planks (Straight 185 K2’s) since 1993. I also use the same rear entry boot from then as well. Every chair operator has to make fun of me, tell me to get with the times. I’ve tried parabolic, they just weren’t for me, so I stuck with my old ones. About 15-20 years ago they stopped accepting my skis to tune up (can’t remember if it was the skis, the bindings, or the boots - they were just too old so for liability sake, they would accept responsibility to work on them), no biggie, I just learned to do it myself. But I don’t wax them myself. Point is, I don’t fear rocks or stumps, I’ve got nicks and scrapes all over, doesn’t slow me down at all, doesn’t affect my form at all. After 45 years of skiing, the idea of having 100% smooth bottom of the skis wit no dings at all is so outdated. How many of us go and fix every ding to our car bumpers immediately. Unless you’re strutting the fashion runway or you’re showing off at apes ski, it’s unnecessary. If you read my entire Russian novel here, thanks for finishing it.
the timing to make both skis and bikes travel on the snow was probably pretty tricky! that's all I could think about was which ride was harder and where. hard snow is good for the bikes bad for skis and vise versa! NICE WORK!
How many takes, drones, helicopters, accustic and picture technicians to put that stunt movie together. It's impressive so and as real as my granny being 300 years old.
RIP those skis
ski in Australia and u will think that the ski damage in this was nothing lol
Watching those skis hit gravel was like nails on a chalkboard.
I live here
nciccantelli the skier went in the dirt and the bikers went in the snow lol
nciccantelli اما عااد

jude wilson it’s definitely a joke referring to the abuse the skis took in this video bud

They weren't even on fatties... And there was no way to stop going down the couloir.
saw this movie two weeks ago ... wait til you see the out takes at the end of the crashes
S and S is harder
Not 40-45%..... 40-45 degree angle
In downhill biking you can get close to 70%, so 45 is no big deal, i do that too, easily!
this is one of the coolest things all year holy cow
That's was one of the coolest videos ever posted to youtube.

For being Corbet's Couloir first time ever doing downhill, he´s pretty damn good!!
This is one the best video on RUclips.
What a sicc edit, "skills, thrills, and everything to pay the bills"
This is amazing. The quality of this video is insane! Well done
omg... those bikes must have been moving crazy fast at the bottom of the couloir!
Absolutely breathtaking stunts and drone camera work. Gravity took a back seat while these madmen ran amok flying down those perilous vertical walls. You got a new subscriber out of me.

ridiculously awesome video, when it finished I couldn't help but clap aloud. Bravo!
Imagine if they built a few single tracks down from the top of the tram. It would be one of the most EPIC MTB Parks in the world!
YAS THIS MUST HAPPEN

You can't really just ride in that snow like they're doing in the vid... they had to have salted it or something.
I've never been brave enough to ski or snowboard, but even I recognize how awesome this is!
Try it out sometime!

That was fucking sick
Good stuff! Headed to Jackson later this week.
the timing to make both skis and bikes travel on the snow was probably pretty tricky! that's all I could think about was which ride was harder and where. hard snow is good for the bikes bad for skis and vise versa! NICE WORK!

How many points does that get you in the game of gnar?
