- "What in the world am I doing?" Corbet's Couloir is one of the most legendary and challenging ski runs in the world. This spring, Cam McCaul and Casey Brown attempted the first ever Mountain Bike descent of the double black diamond ski run.
Here's a behind-the-scenes look at Cam and Casey's historical descent of Corbet's Couloir.

We had a short story on "Extreme Sports" in our reading series, so I showed my third graders this clip after watching the edited version. It was great for them to see a little of what goes into making a film. And it was AWESOME for all my girls to see Casey's amazing performance! They were super-stoked. I also appreciated that you managed to "bleep" appropriately so I could show it in school.

Stoked to see both men and women represented in this project/edit. There are so many rad women that don't get any attention in the mountain biking world, and Casey went bigger than Cam in this! Mad props.
saw the full movie at a ski team fundraiser two weeks ago ... when the segment started and they came out of the tram my first thought was ... 'oh no they aren't actually going to' ... and then they did! :-D was sitting with a novice skier who had never heard of Corbet's and their jaw was on the floor at the end, nicely done TGR!

This is most befuddling !!! It is soo hard to ride on snow !! Cam n Casey .. I bow down !! My jumping started in Wilder Ranch, backside of UCSC droppin in to Hwy 9, on the tracks by 30th ,, aaand, of course the Aptos Post Office launch !! Now, the Hood River Area Trail Stewards bless me with their wide array of gaps, step ups-downs, transfers n drops !! Ride jump or wither !!!

A drone at that altitude probably can't lift a camera that big. The tram obviously can.

Not sure there's any full downhill fat bikes out there.... yet haha. I'm sure the super slack angles and maximum suspension travel were appreciated in this situation.

Skis and boards not bikes. As a thought replace the wheels with dual mini-skis front and back with steerable front then try it and "ski" bike down the mountain with carved turns controlled speed.
