So...I've watched SAM going on 20 times....a perfect story of love faith and redemption...The relationship of a retriever and master hunter that "held on" ...loving in frustration a dog that at times just had to do it his way...never giving up and the legacy continued in the next generation. An example of a perfect story ...perfectly done.
I've watched like 20 of these today. I never considered buying a Yeti but can now think of no better brand. Thank you for the story telling and inspiration.

Incredible ...... just incredible! My only time in that part of the world was on a stop-over in Reykjavik, on a flight back from the Middle East. Landed in a USAF transport C-5A Galaxy in one heck of a crosswind. It was a short walk to the Operations building, but the wind wanted to knock you sideways. Even with the wind, I had wanted to take a walk downtown. It was a beautiful place and I'd wished I had more time to spend there ...... especially being a hardcore flyfisherman, and having read a lot about that part of the world ..... dreaming to one day fish there. Thanks for this beautiful short film.

Dear Yeti, I really enjoy the videos, but can I make a request? Please choose a subject matter different from fly fishing. I get that you have to appeal to RUclips generation and fly fishing is the most yuppie friendly subject, but the majority of sportsman and women do not choose fly fishing as a preferred fishing method. Showing just this aspect of the sport smacks of pandering to the trendy hipster market and not to the established hunting and fishing community, that have found your product to be an invaluable tool for outdoor recreation.
I admire and respect Vala, but...no one comes into this world alone. Not literally. Not figuratively. No one. Ever. What does it mean to make your own story? If I copy everything my twin brother does - same schools, sports, friends, fun, hobbies, career, marry my brother's wife's twin - then isn t that "my own story"? A story of mirror image. Empty pablum that is. I do not like the manipulation of staging the child's drawings to match images from when mom is away in Greenland. Cheap fiction. Not story telling but cheating.
What’s the point of catching the fish just to let it go? Seems like animal abuse, catch enough fish to feed yourselves and be done. I’m going to go shoot a deer then pull the bullet out and let it go, crazy right?
When a deer is hot in the head its dead plain and simple. Catch and Release fishing has been studied vastly with multiple different species allowing an accurate incite into the survival rate of fish after capture. If everyone who fished killed every fish they caught we would not have sustainable populations of wild fish. Therefore to ensure the survival of these species it is usually the C&R (catch and release) Anglers at forefront driving the efforts in order to save these species. Whilst also promoting ecological efforts in order to maintain the wilderness that a lot of these fisheries operate in. Preventing damns from being built and also protecting the interest of the local communities.
Catch and release sport fishermen have done more for fisheries than literally anyone you can name put together. We are the only ones out there fighting to keep these fish on the planet.
