This was so helpful! I love the mock interview instead of it just being tips. I wanted to know how we should end the interview virtually. Do I exit out of Zoom, do I wait for the interviewer to exit? After we say bye, what is the best thing to do?
Good question. You can end with a simple "Thank you for your time. I enjoyed talking with you." Once you say that, you can leave the meeting. And I typically like to have my mouse hover over the leave button in Zoom to avoid that awkward pause between saying goodbye and actually leaving.
As an alumni interviewer, I'd like to praise the interviewer and interviewer. Both are passionate and interesting persons and together produced evidence for a highly favorable recommendation.
