I watched it last week and have pretty much the same opinions as you guys. (as usual lol) I'd give it a 6.5 or 7 😆
I didn't have any issue with Orlando Bloom but I did notice he's starting to look a lot like Luke Evans lol

I watched ‘Pirates’ recently-generally, still a damn great, fun film-and it really affirmed to me how poor an actor Orlando Bloom is. 😆

I love nearly all these takes, but Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3 are some of my all time favorites. Likely a result of growing up with them like the prequels of Star Wars. Also very hot take, the Gore Verbinski trilogy of pirates is a solid 8-8.5/10 for me.
Pirates 1 is pretty solid. Orlando Bloom, however, is not.

Wasn’t that we didn’t want to. We have limited time to work on reviews so we just had to pick and choose what to focus on. If this was full time for us we would have definitely done it. Appreciate you checking the videos out!
So this weekend i ended up watching talk to me. If you are into grisly horror, its the perfect film. I am definitely interested in seeing gran turismo now. The trailer already turned me off from orlando bloom, so my expectations will not be lowered from seeing him try to act some more.
He’s weak but doesn’t bring the film down much.

It's kinda funny that you described reversing the win at Le Mons and the crash, and then the movie's over, but that describes the plot of Ford v Ferrari pretty spot on. But like you said, that was a biopic, and this is a dumb sports movie meant to sell copies of a video game.
Gran Turismo is a semi-biopic in a sense since it is mainly loosely based on the story of Jann & how he became a successful professional race car driver. Sure some creative liberties were taken like reversing the order of the timeline of his crash at Nurburgring where it accidently killed a spectator to his LeMans podium finish. I saw that as depicting Jann's guilt that he has to live with for the rest of his life where an accident by him resulted in the death of a person & i think they did a good job showing his struggles during that final race. In interviews whenever it is brought up Jann is still feeling the effects of that crash.
I highly recommend reading up on Jann's story cause it is very interesting the full story.
