I think everybody has their own expectations. My goal as an instructor is to help pilots to get to know their wings better and understand the wings limits and why things happen the way they do and how to deal with as many different situations as we can manage in a few days time. Hopefully I will able to help to a point that after the course you'll understand more of what is going on and will be able to start practicing some of the maneuvers by your self to start mastering them. This process takes a lot of time. If you where underwhelmed, I would assume you where unlucky with your choise of instructor.

I can 100% back that a great acro pilot doesn’t make for a good siv instructor/ teacher… speaking from a bad experience
Hopefully over the years well have more and more high level instruction in Paragliding, culture is changing, as with everything, it takes time.
