I sure do miss Rainbow trout. I grew up in Oregon. My mom would always tell me "if you come home with enough for everyone. You are the man of the house today". I was 10 years old the first time I became the man of the house. Good memories. Thanks for sharing Alex 👍
It’s like you know what I need to watch and when I need to. Trout stocking by me in less than two weeks. Good to touch up on some techniques I’m not overly familiar with 😁
Back in the early 60's,my dad taught me the same techniques for fishing trout.I lost so much tackle that I grew to hate it.I didn't fish again for almost twenty-five years. My son had taken an interest in bass fishing so I was re-introduced to fishing again.Bass is a lot more fun for me,although I do go for trout once in the while.Nice video today, thanx for the memories.
My Dads aunt used to live in Heber Springs Lake, AR when I was around 6,7 or 8 years old we went over for on vacation they took us fishing on the lake over there i caught 2 of the biggest fish I have ever caught that weekend a 4 to 41/2 pound and a 6 to 61/2 pound Rainbow trouts bait was canned yellow corn still have pictures of me at the bait shop smiling holding the fish caught the on a zebco 202 i think it stripped the plastic gears out when i caught the larger one still remember that to this day. Good Job ob the trophy Brook Trout. Have a great weekend!!!
I'm from about 45 minutes north of ChattCats and the water temp has been so hot the last few years that it has messed up the stocking and lower water levels dont help. But normally the trout fishing is really good and some are monsters.Citico Creek,Little River and Tellico River is great fishing in the right conditions. The hatchery is full of breeder trout that are so big it would just blow your mind.I caught my pb smallmouth and trout the same day...that's it,gotta go.Great video Alex,as usual!
Wish we had trout here. Texas parks and wildlife only stock rainbow trout in certain small lakes and public ponds in the winter. I caught 5 years ago and never had the change to do it again. They were awesome.
Something folks at Hatchery told me was dont use corn unless we keep the catch. Corn blocks their intenstines and kills them. Something your viewers might want to know. Ive been fishing mountains last couple months as it just insanely hot on the big waters. Low flow in all our creeks and rivers...Kudos on your trophy !!
Minnows like that are a killer for trout! If you dont have proper current to drift them try a slow steady retrieve once it sinks to the bottom, sort of like a spinner but a tad slower. Tight lines
Congratulations on the🏆trout. I am surpised the minnow didn't catch anything. This was a very peaceful video, I enjoyed it greatly and it was very relaxing. Thank you Alex.
An 11 inch brook trout is awesome anywhere. I am just happy to find much less catch a 6 incher in New England. Such a beautiful fish, they all go back. Thanks by the way of taking care of the trout and releasing them safely.
Nice move on the trout Alex...I remember growing up and confiscating cans of corn from the cupboard to go fishing...good ole corn...always been a good one...great job..
3 rainbows and 1 brookie. thats a good day. a little over a month i should be on the ice fishing brookies and rainbows but till then its hunting season
Trophy Trout! Yay! So weird to me they go after corn. I grew up fishing in corn country and never saw anyone fish with corn until RUclips, and I think I've seen it catch about everything on here by now.
david peet where in Texas are you? I’m in Dallas/Fort Worth and we have multiple stocked trout locations. Check out my Instagram for pics from last years’ stocking
Hey Alex Been away for a while moved from Northeast to the south east Florida im going to have to catch up and binge watch your videos keep them coming a true fan Frankie
@@__-zn3gh honestly no idea when the cold hits everything here freezes with a thin layer of ice making fishing almost impossible. Other then that I honestly have no idea.
@@RealisticFishing I just checked the Texas Parks & Wildlife site and they actually stock a river not too far from me . I will definitely go fish it this winter.
I watched this out of mad respect for what your doing. That said, I personally believe trout fishing sucks. But that is just my opinion. I remember years and years of trout fishing with the only break being a yearly salmon run, with no other options close by.. So glad to be back in the Midwest where I can have options of what to fish for. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations on the trophy trout. That looked fun. Can you do more trout fishing with different types of bait as a comparison please? Keep it realistic.
Alex, given your last few videos and now this trophy ("for Tennessee") Brook Trout, you're going to have to rename the channel to Realistically Large Fishing. You keep this up, and Bro Manson is going to want to collaborate on a video!
Great job as always brother! I’ve only ever caught Speckled and White Trout but I’d love to get on the Rainbows, Brookies, and Brownies. Have a great weekend 👊🏻😎
Good job on the trophy trout. How many of those tarps do you have so far? I believe that’s what the program here in Tennessee is called. Nice video once again 👍🏻
Cool vid! I never would've thought that far south had rivers that would be cold enough for trout to live in! There must be a ton of springs! And corn for bait? I learned something new today! I thought only carp hit corn?

They sure like that corn 👍
I don't do a whole lot of trout fishing but after watching your videos I definitely will get out and do more
Give it a try 😎
Not a trout guy but enjoy watching you search for them.
Thanks for watching
Thats cool to know trout go after cut bait! Never thought that. The craziest thing we caught trout on were crawfish.
I wish we had landscapes like this in central FL. What a beautiful scenery to look at while fishing.
trout fishing is where it's at

I meant chance instead of change. Stupid autocorrect
This is the only place I know where the trout are stocked yer round. Otherwise its the same, winter stocking only.
@@RealisticFishing aren't the natural trout waters around Yellowstone and dakotas? Congrats on that nice brook trout.
Great video as usual bud. I love how you fish for a variety of species and not just single in on on type
Thats right!
Thank you for being so realistic
You're welcome 👍
Those rainbow trout are some pretty looking fish and they seem to love that corn.
They sure do 👍
Trout videos are one of my favorites on the channel 😎 👍🏻

I never catch any on spinners either 😅
What a relaxing episode. The stream, the trees, minnows in the side streams. Thanks Alex, great shows.
Its a really nice place 👍
As someone who has never trout fished I love these videos! Going to try this year!
Good luck!

That water did look cold. Lol. Great job out there as usual. Way to keep it realistic
Thanks Kevin 👍

Cheap and easy 👍
I’ve never caught a single trout in my life! Awesome video!
They are out there waiting 👍
Congrats on the trophy man. That was a killer day.

Good times man, I really enjoy fishing for Trout and watching you catch them was fun too!

Its is so nice out that way 😎
Trout release at my local lake is the 16th! Awesome video.
Almost time!
It looks serene as heck out there, and that water looked cold!
It was great, cold water and all 👍
great way to catch minnows, nice bunch of trout

Another fun video. Looked like a relaxing day too. Excellent job.
It is so nice out that way
I can feel trout season in the air! But I have to wait 2 more weeks🤣 awesome video, I love the content!

Great video Alex! Surely a good looking fishing spot. Keep up the great work!
Still too warm for the boat 😉

I have all kinds of creeks around me. Really should start utilizing them.
Been rough fishing in Louisville Kentucky. Nice to see someone catching fish.
Nice and peacefully. Nice fish Alex.👍👍👊

I don't have trout where I live in TX.
I miss fly fishing for trout like I did growing up near Lake Ontario
No winter stocking programs?

Great video! Love watching you catch fish, Alex...because if I had a RUclips fishing channel, it would be called, "Skunked Again!" Have fun!
😅
Congratulations this place is amazing, you caught beautiful fish, I loved it.
Hug and good fishing!👍
Thanks Suellen
Never been trout fishing but looks fun!
Be sure to try it one day 👍

Southern Virginia - both of the rivers I fish a lot are the lowest I have seen them since I have been really into fishing (the last two years)

I drove up to Oklahoma to trout fish, it actually was pretty enjoyable

I have been doing a lot of creek fishing this summer. It has been a while since I fished in a lake because I am having more success in shady creeks.
Go where the fish are 👍
Great video man. Your videos are great to watch!
Alex, nice trout I always can count on you for a great video.

Pretty nice fish, wish I could get on something like that. My goal right now is to get me a nice gar.
Gar was a little tricky for me but I caught a few by the dam 👍
@@RealisticFishing Yeah, my dad was telling me about a place very local. Gonna try the rope trick on them and see how it works.

Not sure if someone has already commented, but that minnow is a Central Stoneroller.
I was thinking stoneroller 👍
Such a beautiful animal.

This river is cold because the water comes from the bottom of a lake. The trout are stocked here
Nice trout, are they stocked? Unfortunately where I live only trout I can catch are stocked, waters are to warm for them to last long.
yeah, stockers
Nice video looks like so much fun.
