You're a life saver! 🤣...it was driving me insane!...I know these darn trucks like the back of my hand, but had no clue what that piece was for...and couldn't find anything online about it...tried searching the part number and came up with nothing!...thank you for sharing!!!
Wow, the difference those extra lights make is crazy. It’s also crazy how expensive some of these light bars can get these days but so worth it if you do this type of driving.
Great video’s!!! I plan to do the same set up you have with the CBI bumper & winch, but I’m going to tie my RC Light bar into the OEM fog lights for power. This way if it’s accidentally left on, it will be turned off when the truck is switched off.
Love the content. I would've connected the male Deutsche connector and then cut the wire from the male side so that if I had to remove the light bar for any reason, I could just disconnect it prior to removal.
Whenever I get a notification from your channel, I know it's gonna be a good one. As always, thanks for taking the time to share. Your work is appreciated.
Hey man love your video I am new to the channel. My question to you is I ordered a TRD grill that came with a light bar and Amber lights. But didn't come with a wire harness just the black and red wire how can I connect the lights if I don’t have a switch panel.
Would it be possible to just wire the new lightbar into the Factory one so they both run off the stock switch, then just add a switch for the ditch lights.
Damn! Nice job. I like it. So it seems like you wired the RC bar so it can be turned on regardless of low or high beam but the TRD OEM is still only available on high beam? (Maybe it’s in another video somewhere I missed?) I think you’ve taken off that front bumper like 6 times now! Props.
Thanks man, I appreciate it!...yes sir, that's correct...I can turn my 20" bar on/off independently from everything else...my TRD bar is still linked to my high beams, I haven't had a chance to change that yet but it's coming!
Hey random question i thought of. Do you know on your tundra platinum you use to own if there is a way to turn off the driver seat from sliding back and forward when the truck starts. I didnt know if that might be something that could be shut off with that carista plug in module you had? I have a 2020 platinum and i am trying to figure out if it can be turned off. Thanks.
I'm sure there's a way, I haven't messed with the stock wiring much just yet...but there's always a way to tap into existing wiring for lighting as long as wiring can support the amps and its fuses properly
@@NitroZ18Fishing I did it. Ordered a short harness, tapped into factory fogs for the trigger wire. Works how I wanted it. My rapter lights are on with driving lights. Fogs are on with light bar.
Nice!...sorry it took me so long to respond, trying to keep up with the channel is getting hectic! 🤣...good problem to have, so can't complain....thanks for checking out the videos!
I cringe when you cut the end off instead of de-pining the connector but super proud of your wiring. Not many use heat shrink tube, heck can tell you how many times I’ve seen twist caps on automotive applications. Also wrap some loom on the coolant hose that runs next to your winch wiring. Overtime the vibrations might chafe the hose.
Thank you!...yea I use same connections on every application and they've never let me down!...even on my boat trailer that gets fully submerged, never had one fail on me!...and that's not a bad idea with the loom, thanks for the recommendation!
That plug that is below your grill that seems to be a dead end on the harness. That is the thermometer sensor that puts the outside temp on your dash.

Right next to a hot radiator?
Yep. Outside temp sensor

Thank you! And yea that’s not a bad idea. Let me know how ya make out!
Very informative, organized and tidy install. Looks like a one beer project
Thanks man, I appreciate it!...not a bad install at all, but I think I stretched it into 2 or 3 beers just for fun 🤣

Thanks man, I appreciate it!...and that's actually a great idea, I should have went that route!
Nitro...your videos are the BEST!!!
Thanks Clark, I really appreciate that!!

Thanks Joe, I appreciate that!!
The hybrids battery is under the seat. Will it reach
Does the CBI bumper interfere with the parking sensors and air dam? I am thinking about getting one. Thanks
Great video man! Also, glad to see another Corona Premier drinker! Cheers! Lol
Yes sir!...thanks man, I appreciate it!...love me some Premier, gotta have my lime in their too 🤣
I don't comment much but good video. Subbed.
Thanks man, I appreciate that!
Jesus christ, you got two light bars, the truck bright enough for you lol

Damn, sweet ride
Is the mystery thing an outdoor temperature sensor?
Excellent video thanks buddy

Hey buddy!...yea you don't even need a Carista to do that, it's in the settings...you can turn that sliding off by going into settings on your screen!
@@NitroZ18Fishing so its in the settings screen located between your tach and speedometer is what you are saying?
It's actually in the truck settings on your head unit, the screen for your radio
@@NitroZ18Fishing awesome. Thanks man
No prob, happy to help!
That is for an available front view camera
Could the light bar be connected some how so that it came on with the factory fog lights?

Can it be used on the last generation 2021? Thanks!!
Yepper, these bars are universal for the most part, might just have to use a different mount...hope that helps!
Ordered the same light bar through your link and it seems to be a different one, much longer in the back and won’t fit in my truck.
I think that is ambient temp sensor

Wauw
Most of those sensors that are far forward is usually ambient temp. 🧐
It’s the outside temp sensor
Yes sir!…I found out after the fact, couldn’t figure it out for the life of me…haha…thank you!
