Thanks for the step by step video! I have Sequoia 2023 which has pretty much the same chassis/configuration engine compartment Wise. Question: 1)I want to install Rigid 360 series 6” ditch lights so I can run the wire the same way to the switch panel inside right? 2) If I have multiple ditch lights, can’t i operate them with one switch (just run 1 cable harnessinstead)? 3) is it recommended to hook up the lights directly to the battery VS to the fuse box? Thank you!
Yes, I agree. I have one that I haven't posted yet. It is much easier to run the cable assy. Because you can run it from the front area of the grill, zip tie then to the Fuse box on the front drivers side. Open the fuse lid. There are some empty fuse slots that will have constant power where you can run a fuse tap for your light bar there. Then go around between the fuse box & fender to your hole in the firewall for the switch. This saved me about 30mins approx. Excess & relay is just in front of the fuse box on the side I just mentioned.
Nice video. I'm trying to understand how to avoid triggering the anti-theft system when doing this? I have a 2024 Tundra and have been told the dealership are the only ones able to turn it off. It would be nice to avoid that...😃
Depending on what trim package you get, there will be physical switches there. But for the trim packages that don't they just get blank switches but keeps the wiring.
Can you explain how you wire both of emblem lights and the led lights to make it work? Cuz the one I have comes with the emblem lights and led lights when I took to them installed he installed separately one for the emblem lights and one for the led lights but he just connected both in to the fuse box, I’ve ordered the led lights switch but don’t know how to install the led lights to make it work. 2023 tundra 1794 edition thanks.
Hey Andrew, did you watch the video you commented on? This should explain how we wired everything up to work properly. I'm not sure what you're exactly having issues with.
@@yotaxpedition yes I’ve watched your video you explain is very clear but my issue is the wire from the LED light has only 2 wires black and red only so how do you connect to a oem led light bar switch has 5 wires that my question.
Hey Andrew, seems like you're going to need a different harness for your light bar. Here is a link to the exact harness we used on our Tundra yotaxpedition.com/products/heavy-duty-single-output-2-pin-wiring-harness
Hi, guys, my have 3 wire, blue/black / white, still not working, put blue on green ( switch ) black/white on the black and the red on the white, still non-working I just try it with battery not on the truck, just not connecting the yellow cable. You think that is the problem???
Can anyone tell me how to wire this darn thing? I have a GG lighting LED bar and I have a TRD light switch which comes with 5 wires. Red, Yellow, White, Black and Green. From the LED bar, I have Red, Yellow and Black. I was told from the switch, black and white together from switch to black from LED bar. Then Yellow from the lights to REd or Green from the switch (not sure!) Either red or green from switch goes to Red on the LED bar. That leaves black. Now when I set it up this way, the LED light comes on but no LED on the light switch. When the black from the LED bar is not even connected to anything, it all works fine. So what am I doing wrong here? There's only 3 wires from the light: black/yellow/white. But I have FIVE wires from the TRD switch. I know I need to tap the tan line on the dummy switch cable, but to which wire from the LED switch? Yellow? Green? White? I would think: black to black, yellow to yellow, red to red. That leaves WTH to do with green and white?!
I’m trying to find the TRD switches. I’m adding power running boards and I need to get the OEM switch (larger button on far left bottom dummy location). Any idea where to find these switches?
The red wire on the second dummy plug is the dimmer circuit. The one wire he picks in the video is constant power. Great video! Keep them coming!

Do you have a video on how to connect the button to the male connectors and/or how to connect the oem button to a Baja Designs wiring harness?
using this heretic harness, how do you wire it so that when the truck is off there is no power to the light bar?
Which diode dynamics harness are you using?

What if I have red, black, and yellow wires? How do I connect them to my Cali raised switch?

Disconnect the battery when working in it.
Would the same switch and wire harness work with 3rd gen tundra Oem light bar PT358-34220-LB?
Where can I find the OEM style switch?

Hello how can upgrade headlight tundra sr5
The blank switches have power ?? What they for and can they be use ???
Depending on what trim package you get, there will be physical switches there. But for the trim packages that don't they just get blank switches but keeps the wiring.
my 24 tundra does not have the wires that attached to dummy switch. question, can i splice to other switches with beige wire?
Yes you can. The beige wire on all the switches should be the wire for illumination

Do you have the link to buy the switch for Corely
Link for the switch is in the video description
Someone needs to make one that fits where the manual headlight leveling switch is on lower trims. My only blank!
