You are the MAN!! I made one change in my switch panel. I chose to place it under the hood, I ran the switch panel cables at the same time as running the winch power cables to battery. This way I only have to go to back seat battery once. any additional lighting is easily attached using the switch panel under the hood!! That battery under passenger backseat is a Pain in the Patooty!!!

Great video. I'm about to install a ham radio into my TRD Pro Hybrid. Can any of the circuits on the switch be automatically controlled when the unit receives the accessory signal to turn on the backlight? I would like for my radio to power on whenever the truck is on, and power off when I turn it off. Last question; do you have to manually switch off the lights when you get out of the truck? If you don't switch the lights off, will they remain on until the battery is dead?
One question: I bought one like this and installed power cable into a seater warmer fuse, does your switch come back On automatically when the car starts or do you turn it On manually?
Can you do a video on how you hid your Binize box?? Did you have to reroute the dash USB? I have one but rarely use it because I hate seeing the wire.Thanks!
@johnny_k he start talking about the need to wire an in-line fuse/ add a fuse at about 9:00 so that backlight switch panel is only powered on with the truck on or in ACC.
Been watching your videos throughout many trucks you worked on. Great respect in what you do here. I have a 2020 trd Tundra with a new NSV light bar through headlight Revolutions and will be adding more electrical, light bars, wheel lights, under lighting etc. was looking at the pricey $1000 Spod for accessory lighting. I have a Rough Country 3.5 lifted suspension. Would that Rough Country switch panel be just as good as the high end ones for my needs? BTW the 3m tape to protect your paint under fender flares was the best idea yet!!
Thanks man, I appreciate that!!...glad the videos are helping ya out!!...I looked at the "high end" switch pods myself and just couldn't justify the cost difference...I will say this RC switch panel does everything I need it to do and then some, and for a fraction of the cost...I'll be adding a 2nd light bar, reverse pods, rock lights, etc...and this switch panel is perfect for it all...hope that helps!
Hmm...stupid question, but you checked all connections to make sure they're secure?... if the back light is on it's definitely getting power so that's strange… Double check the two pin and four pin connections as well, I did notice they can be a little loose... let me know how you make out, I'll see if I can think of any other reason you would be having that issue… Other than just a faulty switch panel

I started using different filament that stands up to heat better, yours must have been the original material, but I’ve never heard of anything just melting in the truck. Does the backlighting stay lit at all times on the switch panel? Have you had any issues with battery drainage? Pretty much my only concern.. Thanks..
