      @@MiniQuest64 there's a big character in WoW named Rexxar, a half-ogre half-orc hunter, who has 3 companions: a bear named Misha, a wyvern named Leokk and a boar named Huffer. @@MiniQuest64 I've decided to start sometime next year once my designs are drawn but for my specific projects I intend on using Monster Clay Premium Grade Modeling Clay for my statues. It is a sulfur free oil/wax based elastic clay and after googling I don't see any reason why the epoxy resins and pigments in this tutorial wouldn't work for my materials as I am essentially replacing your xps terrain and putty shapes with clay. Could you have any insights that you could share, is my research sound on face value?

    • @MiniQuest64
      @MiniQuest64  Год назад +1

      Oh, you can absolutely do it with monster clay! Most of the times I use xps because it's really cheap. ^^
      About the epoxy, I would recommend brushing a first thin layer of epoxy onto your surface and letting that dry completely before doing the big pour.
      That way, you can prevent any reaction with materials that might occur, and you fix everything beforehand/prevent bubbles.
      (Minibricks do it all the time.)
      Please keep me updated about your project o.O

      @@MiniQuest64 Nice I will, but I am throwing out very loose optimistic schedule dates as I am 8/25ish characters done in my drawing design stage. It is a huge amount of projects that I am simultaneously doing when creativity hits each with different individual components/looks. Plus I still have to research more, revise, scrutinize and if need be, remove/cancel some to only keep my best designs to ensure their structural/photogenic stability so these larger/fragile parts don't break easily or look unappealing. Most importantly prepare a safe work space/buy tools and materials to get them off my pages. : D

    Welche Firma kannst du für Flock, Gras und Pflanzen empfehlen?

      Dankeschön! =) Also für generellen Flock (static) ist es völlig, egal woher er kommt.
      In Sachen tufts mag ich die Sachen von The Army Painter und ganz besonders Green Stuff World (kleben besonders gut, sehr voluminös),
      Nur bei Pflanzen, habe ich noch nichts gefunden, dass mich überzeugt, bzw. was ich empfehlen könnte.

      @The Basic Brush Thank you, appreciate it! =)
      Epoxy is a safe way to ruin your house, I can guarantee that at least :D
      I think you have to make every mistake at least one time to be absolutely prepared for everything, we will see what goes wrong the next time!
      Still have some project's that could top this one but it will be very hard and it already feels intimidating xD
      Working on a smaller one currently because the Murlocs took a big chunk of my time and energy.

    • @icemanx3790
      @icemanx3790 Год назад +1

      I had 4 small holes and than I count the time how long a drop needs. Every drop was around 2 and 5 minutes. Than I put a lot of Zewa paper under it and after 15 hours the holes where drying out✌🏼😃

    • @MiniQuest64

      I tried to avoid using water, because it can turn into some bad reactions with resin if there are still some water drops remaining while pouring in.
      Did you have problems with that? Or could you maybe give a little more insight into your own process? Sounds very interesting!
