    In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a total back stretching workout which is all seated and that helps relieve pain, adds flexibility and strength.
    Your back is involved in everything you do on a daily basis. Making sure we keep our backs strong yet, loose and flexible is very important to contributing to a long and healthy life.
    This back stretching workout is focused on stretching your whole back from upper, mid and to lower all in a safe, seated position. This is ideal for beginners or anyone who may have limitations while standing. This exercise is meant to be slow, safe and effective to help build strength and flexibility.
    Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause you any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.

    Thank you so much for this. My back has not been happy this week and this definitely helps. Also just did you beginning hiit workout. Really love the low impact your workout provides.

    First time doing ANY stretching workouts in many years. I'm 69 yrs, 340 lbs, 6-5"....and not active. I followed along with this ( on a rolling desk chair!) And will again tomorrow.
    I have a nagging pain in my lower, right side back that I've had for weeks, it's not getting better this time like usual. Just opened my year old package of resistance bands and tubing kit. Its time to get serious.

    Great Meredith, thank you so much! It was quite painful, but I don't have a normal straight back, so it's normal to feel pain for me, no problem. Really very good stretching exercises. I have enjoyed it! 🙏❤

      Is it suggested to do this series of exercises more than once a day?? I want to get my flexibility back and resolve the stiffness from having been sedentary so long during recovery but don't want to overdo and exacerbate the problem.
      My primary difficulty is the upper back between the shoulder and blades though lower back gets tight too sometimes.....sigh...

    Perfect timing, Meredith. I started dressing my big loom yesterday and my lower back was really feeling it this morning. I wont push my luck though, pool today and more work on the loom tomorrow.
