Me watching this as a junior who hasn't even taken the SAT yet, not wrong to want to know what to expect tho. I recommend ppl like me who aren't seniors yet to just keep a list of ideas. When u randomly think about an idea during a random day, write it down on ur phone or smth. Then you'll have a lot of potential ideas for ur common app or supplemental essays

i was wondering if you have any tips for what to do if you go to a competitive school? i see a lot of vids on schools where they have not too many APs or resources which makes sense but it’s harder for kids who attend competitive schools to stand out, how do we deal with that?
you basically have no other choice but to be at the top 1% of your school (4.6+ cumulative 9-11th grade or 4.9 10-11th; 1 honors 9th grade, 4 APs 10th grade, 5 APs and 1 honors 11th grade, bunch of summer honors/AP self-study courses) while also grinding mad ECs, your on demon difficulty but its very doable if you completely focus on school/ECs
@@TTAGGGTTAGGG thank you so much, so far I am taking 11 APs including this year and 4 senior year which will be a total 15 APs and I am currently studying for the SAT (wish me luck!) my school is mainly centered around pre med, business and some CS but i’m not rlly doing that so I hope i can stand out 👍
@@codewithtb419 np. im a senior rn, w/ a total of 15 APs, 5s on all 9 ive completed up to junior yr (make sure u get 5s). From my experience, w/ all As you should come out to a 4.9 10-11 gpa. if you get a 1510 in the NMSQT/PSAT in oct, you'll get NMS semi-finalist. for SAT, just start practicing a lot, take your first SAT in fall (December) of junior year. If you need more tries, take the digital in March of junior and August of senior years. start essays in june no excuses (i made the horrendous mistake of not doing that). do research and ECs that fit the narrative you are trying to portray in your essays (I also didn't do that). gl and have fun in your journey

How do you request your teacher to write you a LOR for a BAMD program?Should you attach your transcripts with it and the name of the schools you are applying to or the Scoir takes care of it?Also if a college says the LOR is optional should you send or not send one?
"optional" for a BA/MD program is a "required"

Yo, great video🎉. I had a quick question. I’m a sophomore and I’m planning on studying for SAT throughout the year but I just found out that it’s going digital. Should I try and grind to take the last non digital test (December) or should I just take an online SAT in like august. If I should take the online SAT how should I prepare. Should I prepare just like you would prep for a normal paper SAT? Thanks

Take ACT! there is not enough material for digital sat and it's really shitty for sophomores cause your forced to take the digital version.

Hi. I am a sophmore, I have not started ANYTHING. I do not have any extracuricualrs as in my country we don't really have much options and I just learned what colleges are actually looking for. My school does not offer any APs either and I do not have a clear passion, but I am interested in sciences. Could you give me any ideas? What can I do? Should I self- study for APs and take the test?
I have same problem. Please reply to problem as some countries don't have extracurriculars.

Hi preaching p I am in 7th and taking Algebra one and am the highest performing math student in my grade for my small school. Everything seems so complicated I wish I had a blueprint, do x get into this school. Although I'm learning that does not exist. I don't know if I should go to math camp to do a lot of activities, focus on my activities, or even if I should worry about this now. PLEASE HELP.
You can't do x to get into a college. That's just not how it works for any even remotely top university. Watch all of his videos, then just forget about college admissions and follow his advice. It's fine to keep it in the back of your mind at this point and start developing your productivity early, but you should NOT be stressing over admissions at all rn.
