  • Decadent, creamy, and full of chocolate flavour.
This Chocolate Mousse is free from dairy, egg, gelatine, and agar!! It's Vegan and Gluten free too!
All you need are 5 ingredients (or 6 if you count water), and you’ll have a rich, and silky homemade chocolate mousse.
    ↓↓↓Recipe↓↓↓
    INGREDIENTS (for 15 x 9 x 7cm loaf tin)
    *1cup=240ml, 1Tbsp=15ml
    *No Substitution Suggestions Unless Specified.
    • 1 ½ cans coconut cream (thick part only, scoopable, sub full-fat coconut milk)
    • 20g cacao powder
    • 60g raw sugar (adjust to taste)
    • 120ml water
    • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
    • 120g dark chocolate (we used 75%)
    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut cream over low-medium heat just until it's melted. Remove from the heat.
    2. Sift the cacao powder into the warm coconut cream and combine well. Add the sugar. Mix well.
    3. Add the cornstarch to the water and stir until fully melted. Add the mixture into the saucepan. Mix well over low heat.
    4. Add the chocolate and stir constantly until fully melted.
    5. Pour the mousse mixture through a sieve into a parchment paper-lined tin.
    6. Set aside to let it comes to room temperature.
    7. loosely cover the mousse to keep it from forming a skin and drying out then place in the fridge.
    8. Chill overnight.
    9. Dust with cacao powder, if you wish.
    10. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Рецептот за чоколадниот мус е совршен.👌Ви благодарам.♥️Текстурата со пченкарниот скроб е совршена, а со агар агар не е вистинската . Браво.👏Поздрав од се срце.♥️🇲🇰

You are always so neat and tidy when preparing a recipe. My question is, why didn't you use agar-agar instead of cornstarch? Does it cause any health issues?

Hello! Tried with agar, but I’m not big fan of its texture… so personally cornstarch was the best for me:)

Cornstarch isn’t jelly like in texture but creamier! ✌️💕🌸💕

This looks fantastic! Love it's egg and dairy free as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and the choline in eggs. (And extra great there's no gelatine as bone products are so high in Lead and pesticides. )Thanks so much for sharing

Can tapioca powder be replaced instead of corn starch? And you mix that liquid hot or cold?
