The most important thing to me to be considered a best place to live is affordable housing and diversity especially bomb food!! Like do they have Mexican food? Italian? Asian? Mediterranean, Islander food? If it’s only American food then it ain’t good.
#7 is where my grandpa's 2nd wife lived ! We used to visit her when she lived there with her 2nd then 3rd husband 🤭😅. Unfortunately my grandpa passed away from a heart attack in his early 40's . She kept the house remarried then when her 2nd husband died she remarried a 3rd time.
Whaaaat? 😩 I live in Atlanta now but I used to live in Norfolk for about 10 years. Red Dog was the spot for Happy Hour, lol. Can’t believe they closed…so many good memories there. 😎🍻🥃🍕🌮🍔
Sorry, most of that city is crime ridden. I was stationed out there a few years ago with the military and I wouldn’t walk around most of that city at night.

Watching this hurts because when I lived in Norfolk in the '50's and '60's, blacks were not even allowed to go through these neighborhoods without a high potential for trouble. I am only seeing these places for the first time on RUclips. In the long run, America will pay a serious price for segregation.
Lived in Larchmont from 2004 to 2006 and loved it. Beautiful homes, quiet streets, and nice neighbors.
I'm from Hampton Roads VA and it's really a vibe there when you're able to live comfortably.
Born and raised in Norfolk!!!!! Miss it terribly!!!! One recommendation and I am on my way back home!!!!!
