A well-designed rhythm game on the guitar, perhaps similar to guitar hero Add in a few unique minigames for fun, such as the stand-up comedy one And there you have it, a 10/10 masterpiece
I disagree on the guitar hero idea, we dont need a boring guitar hero clone. I think the guitar solo level had the idea. Get the grove with the rhythm and improvise which leads to freedom and creativity.

I honestly would love to see Rockstar Revisit this IP and bring a goofy Sequel to the Switch a future October release date. It would end up being an amazing holiday release and people would buy it for the name alone. It would be called: Mr. Bones: Wild Arcade

The person behind this game also created ecco the dolphin (not the artist but the ecco the dolphin artist is very talented) and also did Jurrasic Park for the sega cd with art by Doug Tenappel, who created earthworm jim and skullmonkeys, and the man behind this game went on to create mort the chicken for playstation. Please look up mort the chicken.
Wow. So, was watching Vinny’s new vod, got ten mins in and had a flashback to this game. Looked the game up to fact check my memories, and what do I find? Vinny’s vod of Mr. Bones. My sister and I played SO MUCH OF THIS. I was probably 5-9, and she was 8-12. How the hell did we play this? Granted, I KNOW we didn’t finish every level, but wow. When I texted her just now, she specifically picked out the spider level and the guitar concert as her favs - I remember loving the dino freeing level. Looking back on this with the context of 1) being an adult, and 2) 25 years of game industry innovation.... this whole thing is kinda wild. Really cool to get to see this all again and see someone else’s reaction to it, kinda puts it in perspective, haha

*watches the ending* now I'm imagining the insane fucker who actually played this game through without jumping around to save time, and how satisfying the ending would have been for them.
He says "the first game of Spooptober" at the start but I watch it on the 31st every year. Except, part of my tradition is also saying "I don't feel like devoting an hour and a half to this" every year, and then ending up being too late to watch the whole thing on Halloween.
I remember when I first got a Sega Saturn the preview disk had a trailer for this game and I thought it was the most awesome game I ever saw. I never got a chance to play it until I was older and after playing it, I like it. The soundtrack is right up my alley, the cut scenes are fantastic, and there are a few levels that I really like. That one frozen lake level can go to hell though.
