Thanks for the video, but few suggestions. Control arms and the hummer - never a good idea. All bolts mist be tighten with the right force. Air tools just damage it. Also, the replacement part is not good either. Do not get me wrong. Thanks for the video. Hope those tips will help.
Good work - but Suncore air shocks are the worst. They either do not work - (I had bad front struts 2 times in a row - full refund), and my rear air struts did not barely last ONE year before they became stiff. Very upsetting.
Great video my front driver side on audi has failed after getting new tires put on front, is it possible the tire man damaged it when he use old school car Jack to raise my AUDI up in front????? Answer please sir
Well done ! I wonder what the major differences are with Suncore air struts vs Arnott's Both can be remanufactured struts.. Suncore's is about half the price of Arnott ! What am I sacrificing, if anything ?
How long ago did you install the Suncore air struts ? Is it still working ? I found out Suncore air struts have one year warranty while Arnott has lifetime warranty.
@@ne2i Yeah. And its only 250 for fronts and 200 for rears. Super easy to do them all. you will be spending same price for coils. In 10 years you will be replacing them all again. So if you plan on keeping the car, go to normal air suspension
@@best_technician was it loose in the first place?? 2:24 I saw you put it through the top of the mount and bolt the 4 nuts of the strut to the strut mount. I never saw the top but being loosened so that’s why I don’t get why it was tightened more. I have to install a new one today so I’m just womdering
@@best_technician hi, thanks for replying, really appreciate it, yes, only front driver side was faulty with a leak, this was replaced with a new airstrut today, but it will not raise, and neither will front passenger now, so, both front struts will now not raise, the rears are fine.

One of the things I did is to replace both upper control arms. They fail often and should be considered a consumable. It's easy with the strut out.
Great video!
정말 일 잘 하시네..많은 도움이 되는 영상 입니다~Thank you!
Thank you for uploaded.
I saw a different video that made this look way more complicated

Thanks for the video. I would suggest a torque wrench however. I also think some of the bolts need to be torqued when the car is on the ground.
Yes It is better to use a torque wrench 👍, I just got use to it like that .
These cars are surprisingly easy to do struts on. Being all aluminum. only took me 30mins.
hello, doesn't it need to be recalibrated? because I changed the suspension and the dashboard light is on

Yes. Mine failed shortly after I changed my front left tire.
You have to set the computer into jack mode. If the strut is old it may damage the strut if it is not set correctly.
@@ne2i....I end up getting both sides struts replaced!! Works fine now
To nie jest naprawa, tylko wymiana starych na nowe.
Sztuką by było naprawić stare i zamontować je z powrotem.
Pozdrawiam 👋👋
Im all for speed.. but details of bolt sizes usually help, lol
hello sir i have a question. i replaced air suspention but my car us doesnt liftiing ? what do you think? help me
Did you check if the air pump was working?

I don't know 😂😂
@@best_technician My repair shop refuses to use anything but Arnott.. Weird.

It's been more than one year . I think it's Still working
Same I have bee using my set for 2 years.works great.
Is it possible to replace all air suspension struts with coil struts in Audi a8l
Yes but not with Audi or Mercedes
If you can find the right coil struts for it ,it will work but the light for the suspension will be always on
Yes you can. Go to strutmasters.com they have the replacement struts and wiring kits to get rid of the lite.
Why? Just fix it. You will be glad you did. The ride is better than any car I have ridden in.

Does anyone know how long that brand last on those struts?
It depends the way you drive
2 years on my set so far
Why do you have to tighten the top nut ?
This is how Audi made it. 🤔

@@christian_urocar oh . I just skipped that part to make the video faster .
The nuts were already tight .
Every bolt torqued the same. Bad mechanic.
Mechanic replaced front drivers side for me today, but, it will still not raise, and fron passenger side stays down now also, any ideas why please?
Is it only one side
If it's not raising up from only one side most likely it's the air shock.
If there is nothing wrong with all of shocks ,you should check for the air leak.

Coil springs are always better than air suspension.they r best and reliable.
