I tried to put the names of places I remembered on screen in the vlog, but yeah maybe a list at the end of the video or something would be helpful. But I'm glad you could take inspo from the vlog and I hope you have a great solo trip! :)
I’ve really enjoyed these 4 videos. I’m glad you felt like you developed as a person through this trip. I never went anywhere abroad on my own till I was over 40. I was sitting next to someone on a coach to Paris, and I just said, OMG we’ve got 5 hours of this. And I just chatted to my neighbour for 5 hours. Fun! I’ve just got back from Prague. I made a vlog of it on my channel, you must get to see the city sometime soon! It’s a beautiful city. You make good videos, so please put some more up!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words! Yeah definitely an "omg i'm actually doing this" feeling hits once you're finally on your way to a city alone haha. But glad you decided to solo travel even if it wasn't til 40, that's better than never experiencing it :) I would love to visit Prague, it's on my 'places to travel' list, so when I go I'll do my best to make a good vlog! And I'll check out your vlog, see what the city is like
Really nicely put together vlogs. So brave that you went in your own. I remember my first so trip was to Brussels and I was so nervous. I remember getting off the Eurostar and my heart was pounding. Hope you get to travel more.
Thank you for watching them! And I appreciate the kind words :) I was also nervous at first, but the nerves eventually faded, and the trips were 100% worth it. I hope I get to do some more solo travelling soon too, and hopefully you do as well!
Your London video came up on my feed so I just binge watched all four of them in order. Your vlogging skills really improved with each city. You really packed a lot of sight seeing into a short amount of time. It was nice to see that you were able to make friends as you went along and were not "solo" the entire trip. I will be traveling to London and Dubai in a few days and then Copenhagen for Christmas so these videos were fun to watch. Next time you are in London try to make time for the Borough Market. You were pretty close to it at one point. The food there is amazing. Check out some of the YT vlogs. Also, Copenhagen at Christmas time is beautiful. Tivoli Gardens is always decorated so nice. I will be looking forward to seeing your next adventure!!
Hey, thanks so much for watching all 4 episodes, it means a lot! 😁 I'm glad you enjoyed them, and yes I agree, my vlogging definitely improved in each city, I also noticed that when I was editing! I have yet to go to Dubai, but I hope to one day. And I will put that on my list for the next time I'm in London, thanks! Christmas in Copenhagen honestly sounds great, I never thought about it, but I do love the Christmas season so maybe one year I'll get to spend it there! I gotta start traveling again so I can make more content lol and I do genuinely miss it too, but I hope you have a great trip to London, Dubai and later Copenhagen! Safe travels :)
@pat_kob sweets hotel is company name. I was on the opposite side. Small yellow one looks at film museum and ADam tower. $175 a night but was with my wife. I solo travel almost once a year. I wanted to see Copenhagen and train to Hamburg in October. Enjoyed your content! If you ever need Netherlands tips hit me up!
@JasonRamosNJ thank you very much, more content to come soon-ish (been very busy with work)! And very cool, I’ll definitely look at sweets hotel and check out some options for next time. Thanks for the tips and that’s awesome that you solo travel almost once every year, i think i wanna make that a goal of mine! :)
@pat_kob Solo travel for me is great quiet time for my brain 🧠. I enjoy the vacation from hearing English. I give you a ton of credit figuring out the trains etc. I've done Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Haarlem, Utrecht, Delft, The Hague, Gouda, Schiedam, Rotterdam, and Leiden in Netherlands and Antwerp and Bruges in Belgium. Hoping to expand out. Always hesitation but you showed me safe and English is fine in Copenhagen and Germany. Where do you have next on your list?
@JasonRamosNJ haha thanks, figuring out the trains was definitely not easy but i’m glad i figured it out too lol. Pretty cool you’ve seen a lot, and yes you can totally get by just knowing English in Copenhagen and Berlin! Not too sure, I want to explore more of Europe as there are still so many countries I haven’t seen, but I’m also wanting to do some traveling down to the states.
Hey these were 4 really good vlogs, you have a talent! I was wondering what were your expectation before the trip and what did you learn about traveling by yourself?
@@pat_kob thanks man, that sounds like a major personal improvement. im also planning a solo trip to germany this summer and your vlogs def gave me some inspiration to do it and approach it in a more lighthearted way
Yes for sure and love to hear that!! If you end up vlogging your solo trip, let me know and i'll definitely check it out haha And i'm really glad my vlogs gave you some inspiration and made you look at it in a more lighthearted way, that's really awesome to hear and means a lot to me! Best of luck on your travels man, hope you have an amazing time this summer! :)
Nice video! Two tips: 1) Every restaurant in the Netherlands is legally obliged to display the prices on the outside, in a way that you can see them before you enter 2) go a bit slower with your camera movements :-)
Thanks for the tips, didn’t know that! And yes I’m aware of the camera movement. It was my first time vlogging doing this “mini-series”, and there’s not much i can do about it now unfortunately, but it’ll be better in future videos!
@@pat_kob Yes... Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht.... the coastline and its beaches.... and also a couple of the Wadden Islands up north .... 🙂 And perhaps Maastricht in the south etc etc.... stay a month!
I did not. I'm from Canada where weed has been legal for years now, so I'm used to it being everywhere here. That's why in Amsterdam it wasn't an attraction I cared to see
Great vlog, Pat! I'm looking forward to seeing more content in the future.
Thank you so much! I'm excited to put more content out soon :)
Just saw this come on my FYP, great quality bro. Hope you enjoyed lived in Amsterdam for many years
Thank you! Appreciate it :)
you should put a list of places and restaurants where you've been. i'm plannig to solo travel to amsterdam again and i take inspo from the vlog

I stayed in a smaller version the bridge tower hotel. It's awesome felt like a lighthouse keeper!
Awesome! I definitely wanna experience staying in a hotel like that, hopefully next time i’m in Amsterdam i get to 🤞🏼

had a good time watching your vlogs! and also wrote some tips down ahhaha, keep up with your work :)
awhh thanks so much, means a lot
you have a great style. Keep it up!
Thank you, appreciate it :)
And thanks for watching!
When you are tired while travelling, then go to a place like a park. Watch people passing by. It helps.
Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try
Stunning vlog👌keep it up 👍
Thank you very much! I appreciate that a lot :)

Didn’t ya blaze in any Coffeeshops fella? That’s literally number one reason to be there
Welp, i'll just have to go back then :)
Next time just buy stroopwafels at Albert Heijn supermarket
Wonderful!! Are you on any socials?? That way we can support you!!
Next time stay a couple of weeks in The Netherlands.... and also come see Utrecht.... and the rest of the Randstad area ...
Yes i'd love to see more and stay longer! I was also recommended to go see The Hague next time i go
@@pat_kob Yes... Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht.... the coastline and its beaches.... and also a couple of the Wadden Islands up north .... 🙂 And perhaps Maastricht in the south etc etc.... stay a month!
Hey Pat, love your travel vlogs, would you mind if i added your channel to catavlogs?
Ok totally random but, you kind of have similar features like Ren Gill lol (Welsh artist). I think your hairstyle adds to it.
I just googled him and yeah I can see it lol
what hotel were you staying at? loved the vid
Thank you so much :)
I was staying at 'The Social Hub Amsterdam City'
@@pat_kob thank you brotha
What hotel is this please
The hotel is called "The Social Hub Amsterdam City"
Too much of socks and underwears 😆
Lol
Did you go to any coffeeshops? Find it hard to believe anyone can go to Amsterdam and not smoke weed 😂😂
I did not. I'm from Canada where weed has been legal for years now, so I'm used to it being everywhere here. That's why in Amsterdam it wasn't an attraction I cared to see
@@pat_kob I bet it is a lot not expensive in Amsterdam huh 😂
work on that camera fella, im getting dizzy
Dude, your camera panning is way too fast, giving the viewer a vomiting reaction. Think about it the next time!
