You are right about the issue with vacation time as Americans. When I lived in the US I finessed 3 weeks off, but here I get 6 weeks off and my husband gets an additional 2.5 weeks on top of his 6 weeks due to how his work contract is formatted.
Krystal your hair is everything. Girly it’s interesting because when I was in Europe people in conversation’s would be staying for weeks and they wouldn’t have like these crazy significant jobs and be like regular jobs

14 days of paid vacation…that sucks. Im in the UK and have 28 days per year…which increases based on time spent in the organisation. I loved Amsterdam. I got to stay for a week and it was perfect. A 1 hour and 30 min flight 😊
I think what you are doing is better than staying in one place for 2 weeks. Flights are cheaper once you make it to Europe so it's best to take advantage of that! :)

I went to Amsterdam in 2019 and hit the best time of my life. I saw so many people riding their bikes to work and to school. It was amazing.
