I stayed in a smaller version the bridge tower hotel. It's awesome felt like a lighthouse keeper!

@pat_kob sweets hotel is company name. I was on the opposite side. Small yellow one looks at film museum and ADam tower. $175 a night but was with my wife. I solo travel almost once a year. I wanted to see Copenhagen and train to Hamburg in October. Enjoyed your content! If you ever need Netherlands tips hit me up!

@pat_kob Solo travel for me is great quiet time for my brain 🧠. I enjoy the vacation from hearing English. I give you a ton of credit figuring out the trains etc. I've done Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Haarlem, Utrecht, Delft, The Hague, Gouda, Schiedam, Rotterdam, and Leiden in Netherlands and Antwerp and Bruges in Belgium. Hoping to expand out. Always hesitation but you showed me safe and English is fine in Copenhagen and Germany. Where do you have next on your list?
@JasonRamosNJ haha thanks, figuring out the trains was definitely not easy but i’m glad i figured it out too lol. Pretty cool you’ve seen a lot, and yes you can totally get by just knowing English in Copenhagen and Berlin! Not too sure, I want to explore more of Europe as there are still so many countries I haven’t seen, but I’m also wanting to do some traveling down to the states.

Nice video! Two tips: 1) Every restaurant in the Netherlands is legally obliged to display the prices on the outside, in a way that you can see them before you enter 2) go a bit slower with your camera movements :-)
Thanks for the tips, didn’t know that! And yes I’m aware of the camera movement. It was my first time vlogging doing this “mini-series”, and there’s not much i can do about it now unfortunately, but it’ll be better in future videos!

When you are tired while travelling, then go to a place like a park. Watch people passing by. It helps.

@@pat_kob Yes... Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht.... the coastline and its beaches.... and also a couple of the Wadden Islands up north .... 🙂 And perhaps Maastricht in the south etc etc.... stay a month!

you should put a list of places and restaurants where you've been. i'm plannig to solo travel to amsterdam again and i take inspo from the vlog
I tried to put the names of places I remembered on screen in the vlog, but yeah maybe a list at the end of the video or something would be helpful. But I'm glad you could take inspo from the vlog and I hope you have a great solo trip! :)

Really nicely put together vlogs. So brave that you went in your own. I remember my first so trip was to Brussels and I was so nervous. I remember getting off the Eurostar and my heart was pounding. Hope you get to travel more.

@@pat_kob lol no i’m serious, it’s been parked there since April of 2023, go on Google Maps and search “St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London” and check photos, it’s there you’ll see it parked same spot.
I am waiting for ( alone in london at 22/23/24/25 and so on. make it a tradition for life
I haven’t thought about doing that, but honestly not a bad idea. And I haven’t traveled this year yet, so maybe that’s what i’ll have to do to start this streak lol

it's not really that the little Mermaid statue is special, it's the author Hans Christian Andersen who was, he was one of the world most famous fairy tale writers he wrote , The little mermaid, the Princess on the pea, the ugly duckling , The Emperors new clothes and many others. The statue is most famous in Denmark for havein lost her head a couple of times and being subjected to other weird things from activists

Oxford street is the busiest shopping street in all of Europe and we don't call it THE Buckingham palace simply Buckingham Palace.
An English comment. I'm glad you like London. I'm always a bit startled by what transatlantic visitors prioritise to see. Tower Bridge may be beautiful, but we English scarcely regard it as old! It only dates from 1904! But right next door is the Tower of London, a massive castle, the central tower of which dates back to 1070. Most visitors to it seem enthralled by the dramatic history that has happened there. Similarly, Westminster Abbey is full of our history. I appreciate both these places charge. And of course there is the rest of the UK, with very beautiful country, and great historic cities such as York and Bath. The rest of the UK is also much cheaper!

Your London video came up on my feed so I just binge watched all four of them in order. Your vlogging skills really improved with each city. You really packed a lot of sight seeing into a short amount of time. It was nice to see that you were able to make friends as you went along and were not "solo" the entire trip. I will be traveling to London and Dubai in a few days and then Copenhagen for Christmas so these videos were fun to watch. Next time you are in London try to make time for the Borough Market. You were pretty close to it at one point. The food there is amazing. Check out some of the YT vlogs. Also, Copenhagen at Christmas time is beautiful. Tivoli Gardens is always decorated so nice. I will be looking forward to seeing your next adventure!!

I have yet to go to Dubai, but I hope to one day. And I will put that on my list for the next time I'm in London, thanks! Christmas in Copenhagen honestly sounds great, I never thought about it, but I do love the Christmas season so maybe one year I'll get to spend it there! I gotta start traveling again so I can make more content lol and I do genuinely miss it too, but I hope you have a great trip to London, Dubai and later Copenhagen! Safe travels :)
Good video and like the natural flow style and comes across as natural without the gimmicks that other vidoe log people use, when you see the star system on restuarants in the UK, it is rare to see 5 stars but treat with caution as it can mean , that the business owner has given money to the food hygeine department. Which is illegal of course but was a demand to a friend when she had her bar where I live and it is more widespread. Obviously not in all cases, so I treat 1 an2 stars along with the five and the 3 and 4 range star range to be good. Covent Garden is said is said as the the 'Co is said as in the word cough so Co vent Garden, nice choice to go there , anyway will leave you in peace now and will look forward to catching up with your previous videos, and the ones co come.

I would say so if you'e interested in seeing somewhat of how the royals live. I only did "The State Rooms" tour, so I can only speak to that. It's a tour that you can go at your own pace so you can be there as long as you'd like, which is nice! In my opinion, it had similar vibes to visiting a museum but was more fascinating to me because the palace continues to be actively used to this day so you learn about the rooms and what they're used for etc. and also learning more about their lives was pretty cool too!
I’ve really enjoyed these 4 videos. I’m glad you felt like you developed as a person through this trip. I never went anywhere abroad on my own till I was over 40. I was sitting next to someone on a coach to Paris, and I just said, OMG we’ve got 5 hours of this. And I just chatted to my neighbour for 5 hours. Fun! I’ve just got back from Prague. I made a vlog of it on my channel, you must get to see the city sometime soon! It’s a beautiful city. You make good videos, so please put some more up!
