Sandy Donnette I do too. I remember when the groomer cut my poodle down super low and I was so upset lol but I eventually got over it. But I love them shaggy too!
I have one and love him shaggy to - but it is a lot of work every day to really comb them out well and prevent the buildup of large knots and the effort increases as they get further and further away from their last bath and conditioning. Plus I live in the north where we have wet and muddy springs and falls and dirty snowy slushy winters. So love the shag hate the mess on the dog and in the home - he gets groomed every 3 months.
Same with my maltipoo but he gets matted easily

I got my cockapoo from bad breeders she had fleas and mats and they clipped her tail but now. She is very happy and healthy
Every person that intensionally breeds and sells "cockapoo" (mutts) is a bad breeder. Not an actual breed.
James Bond BBS that’s not true, they’re known as “designer dogs” because some people who have poodle mixes (Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, cockapoos, etc.) have allergies and need a lower dancer emitting pet. Most dogs that are around today are from “mutts.” Breeding dogs is about reproducing the traits that are desired and can usually lower the genetic health risks that come with “purebreds.” ☺️

Here comes James to tell us why hundreds of years of purebreeding/inbreeding is what makes good dogs. It's a fucking crime what purebreeding has done to many dog breeds. All of the health conditions purebreeds are prone to are a direct result of breeding within too shallow a gene pool, ie. inbreeding and imposing undesirable traits. Go ahead and explain to us why cockapoo's average lifespan is 14-16 years and are hardly prone to any health problems. If you own a German Shepherd there is over a 20% chance they will develop hip dysplasia, English Bulldogs are hardly going to have the capacity to breath in another 100 years. A dog lover you are not. You are a dog elitist more concerned with your dog's bloodline than actual health. Intentionally is spelt with a t, you illiterate.

All those dogs were left on their own on the Tables with anyone supervising them
In my country you would never pass your Grooming Exam if you left a dog strung up on a table unsupervised. There were 2 dogs left like this on the tables in this video. A dog can slip or mis-judge the edge of the table fall off and break it's neck, it wouldn't be the first time. You need a more conscientious qualified groomer. Cute dog though, it looks like mine.

Laura B Mine is great. Very healthy, never gets sick ever. Physically very slim and fit. And because of their poodle side, they should live for a very long time. 💙💙💙

I got my 2nd cockapoo about 5 hours ago!! I got one in July and today we got another one,he’s 4.5 months old because the guy we got her off bought him for his gf for Christmas but they broke up and he wasn’t cared for

Dogs should not be left on table like that
Why do you have a prong collar on a cockapoo? Also, did the groomer just leave her on the table while she finished the other dog? I couldn't tell if there was another groomer in there with her. Seriously though, a prong collar on all the time? She weighs, what? 25 pounds? I would think 6-8 obedience classes would take care of such heavy pulling that a 25 pound dog would pull you over.
Vicky B Hi! That is actually not a real collar. It’s a purely decorative necklace to give her some spunk haha. 😆 It is spike shaped, but is not sharp at all. The leash never goes on that necklace (it would break apart). Sushi is only 16 lbs! Thank you for looking out! 💙🍣

They didn't ruin her, she looks so cute! The groomers did a fantastic job. She needed a hair cut anyway as she can be at risk from matting if she had her hair long.
