For me this was one of the highlights of the festival. The whole band was on point but Justin’s voice was *chef’s kiss* and the atmosphere was amazing.
First saw these guys (well, some of them) supporting Deep Purple and Lynyrd Skynyrd many years ago at the NEC. They were incredible and no-one had ever heard of them back then. Great to see them still knocking them out and having fun.
I remember when I first heard this riff for the very first time on Radio ......When the band cuts in with that opening riff IT DID SOMETHING TO ME. ...Goosebumps. Hair stood up on my arms ..Omg......In Hard Rock that hadn't happened to me for decades ....Since the days of VH Running with the Devil & You Really Got Me,,,,Ain't Talkin' Bout Love. or stuff like Aerosmith's opening riff on No More, No More (which I recently cut my own version of last year.) Great to hear this track done live again....At the end Really NICE Tribute to the great EVH in the guitar solo there. We all miss ED so much God love him. I learned SO MUCH from his genius. As rock players I believe we ALL did.
@Walter Evans....exactly the way i feel! It's obvious you're a musician, as am i. The Darkness are the real thing! I would love to listen to you're version of No more No more! Aerosmith....have seen them 19 times
Love the THUNDERBIRD bass. ....Now that was PETE WAY (God rest his soul) He was an iconic bassist ...With UFO in their golden years with Michael Schenker.....Natural finish Gibson Thunderbird alongside Michaels matt White Gibson Flying V in 1978 On the incredible Strangers in the Night live album....Another huge influence....The good thing about The Darkness is they were influenced by all the BEST people. Thats why they kicked ass too. You can hear Queen there too, & of course Van Halen (As if anyone in Rock Wasn't influenced by them...lol)
Met Pete Way on a couple of occasions at a venue I worked at as a 19 year old. How he managed to perform a gig THAT intoxicated is beyond me, he was wild.
@@carlpoelstra1059 Yes. Pete was such a character .God rest his Soul ....Some people said he used to be so out of it on Cocaine they would worry about him. If you looked up the expression Rock 'n Roll Lifestyle up in a dictionary you would find a PICTURE of Pete there with his Gibson Thunderbird wearing one of his stylish waistcoats or outfits. R.I.P Pete. .
saw this live and all I got to say as someone who had only ever herd this song before his voice is so high pitched in real life I was like 😱 he has an almost womanly high voice it works amazing for this song but for a few other songs they did it didn’t
Justin Hawkins = true professional. Love his you tube channel too.
ME TOO !
Ditto!!
Don't think Justin will be on Paul Stanley's Christmas card list! 🤣

Wow his voice is on point
Yep
The whole band, totally tight.
More like annoying but I guess that’s the crap people go for 😂
@@Devik666
If you find it so annoying, why are you here watching it in the first place and then leaving your negative comments?
@@MrMasterful1 Cos he's a w**ker innit! :)
Quite simply one of the best live bands on the planet. Always rocking and fun.
One of the finest live bands you will see.
Crowd pleasers, ENTERTAINMENT. Superb.
Lovely CAT in that picture if I may say so Andrew......lol
Still absolutely kill it.
I was blessed to be front row when they played in Phoenix a couple months ago amazing !!!!
I've always been amazing at how quintessentially British everyone in this band looks lol.

Saw these guys when they supported Def Leppard about 20 years ago! Absolutely electric atmosphere and a great show. Rock on Justin!

Lol..agreed..!
Great players/performers.
Twin Les Paul's and a Thunderbird bass.
Justin Has a little Johnny Depp vibe going and a little fire inspired by the Great Rammstein lol.
World class Band and love JH Rides Again!🤘

@@cliffjones9922 nicely done.

These guys kick serious ass! Justin Hawking is very talented
voice is on point! much better than a few years ago
I believe in a thing called THE DARKNESS !!!
Nothing on tape,,,,,,, unlike KISS lol
Forget Kiss, I've seen local bar bands use backing tracks. It's ridiculous.
Justin Hawkins rides again!
❤️❤️❤️
Justin is literally riding again in this clip
Where’s the wall of Marshalls from the video haha

Didn’t know Klaus was in aband! I wonder how often he talks to jimmy hendrix LOL
great band............dared to be a bit different
sickk
Everyone making fun of kiss 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😅
The exotically rare white chocobo appears at 2:17
IN
😍
Find Justin Hawkins you tube channel it, is amazing. Smart people only
That’s not the song’s title, but whatever
Autocorrect.... sorted now
I'm sure Mr Stanley is really bothered by the comments from the lead singer of a warm up band ...
That so called warm up band can actually play and sing live, unlike kiss who are fucking dreadful and a gimmick
the date is wrong?
It's not wrong
@@tonycooper8542 it says 12-6-22 ... that over five months from now
That's how we write the date in the UK. Correctly. day month year
It that this band is any better tho 🤣😂🤣😂
As if The Chipmunks formed a comedy pop metal band! Jeezus 😖
WAY too fast. you can still be a live band and play with a click..
They always played it faster live, the single version was slowed down artificially
What an embarrassment of a rock band.
Who took a big steamy on your head, Simon?
Best band at the festival, PS kiss are shite
Justin Hawkins rides again!
