I really didn't expect this was TRULY 2024. omg wtf with these dudes, they look AND SOUND almost the same as their 00's era. Prettydamngood performance! I would love to see The Darkness live. They really rock hard.
I fucking love this band so much. Back when they first came out I was working overnights at Wal-Mart and our manager would let us take radios from electronics and play whatever we wanted. I'd blast their albums and it would help me through all those shitty nights.
Been following Justin's channel a lot over the last couple of years and haven't seen any recent performances apart from the Taylor Hawkins tribute shows. But man. Justin is sharp. And Rufus hits hard!
he switches to the neck pick-up where he has his volume pot turned down. Once he's going to play he switches back to the bridge pickup where he has his volume pot full open. No noise-gate needed just a flick on the switch and you're good to go.
Really happy for them. I wasn't a huge fan back in the day but they were chewed up by an uncaring music industry and a public who were conned into thinking they were just a novelty act.
Same! I really wanted to go but couldn't get up North for it. Had a couple of younger mates from work go and when I told them I was jealous as I wanted to see The Darkness they looked at me blankly and said 'who?'. Ingrates!
Justin Hawkins is the kind of rock star that I'll gladly fail to explain to my kids and then lean back another decade to experience their inevitable revelation.
He is such an amazing singer. I toned up my falsetto because of singers like justin. I had the range needed to refine and power up. Song is a GREAT practice track for any looking for power and very strong highs.
That bassplayer is the most bassplayer a bassplayer can be.
his bass sounds very bassy
It's like a portal opened from 1982, he steps out and tells the band "I am here to assist you."
first time I ever see him and I think already he's a legend
He's certainly A Sharp
Pretty damn rare for a rock star to hold up that well 20 years later.
Especially considering Hawkins admitted that he basically existed on cocaine for a year after Permission To Land went platinum.
I'm glad he's taken such good care of his voice over the years!! Cheers!
tf do you mean his high highs sound like ass
Voice?
The guys is 50 and is looking healthier than most 20 year olds!
wtf no he doesn´t look healthy at all lol@@mudcast
@@SkateAnnoy-b1sHow so? He's in excellent shape, you know how hard it is to get a six pack? Justin is ripped.
@@SkateAnnoy-b1s yes he sure does. Compare him to Pete Doherty for example, then you might understand how wrong you are lol
Justin is nearly 50 years old and looks and sounds like he's in his 30s. absolutely incredible !
Living a healthy lifestyle by all accounts.
When he was in his 30s he looked like he was pushing 50. 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, getting sober at the right time helped my man out so much. Love to see it.
A vegan diet and a distinct lack of skag will do wonders for a man
True, thats drugs for ya@petermcdonna4160
Finally he rides again
Again

Most underrated rock band ever.
So good that it is actually live. Bravo Darkness.
Nice Atkin Midhorn guitar, very cool 🤟
Reminds of the days of yesteryear when I was at festivals like this. The Darkness have still got it and are still very underrated. Top chaps.
It's so nice to see them having so much fun on stage ❤
Justin absolutely sends it in every performance!
Been following Justin's channel a lot over the last couple of years and haven't seen any recent performances apart from the Taylor Hawkins tribute shows. But man. Justin is sharp. And Rufus hits hard!
There just fucking awesome
Greetings from Poland
Caught them on MORC cruise recently. They are very hard in concert. Straight up rock.
Going to see them next year!
Oh man! The energy in this 😮🎸🤘
Lovely.
justin is seen as singer but he is also an amazing guitar player !!! n yeah has a lot of experience but he makes it look so freaking easy !!!
This wasn't exactly my style, but I will not argue that this dude absolutely rips! Killer vocals, and a shredder.
The Darkness sounding fantastic!
Timeless songs!
The noise gate on Justin's guitar is doing the work of its life
he switches to the neck pick-up where he has his volume pot turned down. Once he's going to play he switches back to the bridge pickup where he has his volume pot full open. No noise-gate needed just a flick on the switch and you're good to go.
What a Performance - BRAVO !!
Justin rocks harrrddddd
Wowzas, there's no letting go, no 'fuck it, that'll do' attitude in this performance, everything at it's fullest, pretty damn impressive!
This kicked ass!!
cheers to live performances!real talent really singing!
This must've been the best 1-song concert of all times!
Very cool!
Awesome

You're vocals are friggin incredible. I don't even like this song but I'm so impressed by the band I can't help but listen to it.
I cant stop this!
GREAT performance!
amazing!
Ultima grande banda d rock. Beberam na fonte certa e continuam legais após 20 anos.
Nunca foram uma grande banda rock, sequer foram unanimidade entre os fãs do estilo. Fizeram relativo sucesso com essa música e depois sumiram.
Really happy for them. I wasn't a huge fan back in the day but they were chewed up by an uncaring music industry and a public who were conned into thinking they were just a novelty act.
Really nice recording!
Tassie you were treated to an epic show. Well Done Management.
He's still got it!!!
🔥🔥🔥👍🤘☮️🎸🎶
Really enjoyed this. Really strong finish!
I never knew supervillain Balthazar Bratt played bass for The Darkness!
Que maravilha de homem ❤
Wft awsome
I want to see the darkness so bad!
Mosntros sagrados da música!
This is Led Zeppling and AC/DC "ready to go". God save rock & roll. Thx The Darkness

fucking 2024 hey
Tão bom quanto a 13 anos atrás!
Damn! I'm from Tassie and couldn't make it. Even better than I thought they would be! They played this SO fast compared to the album, I love it!
