@@PineapplePizzaBiSI don't know it for a fact but we all know it's true, that is in the game purposely. It's great risk reward, worse games wouldn't let you do it because not intended.

@@PineapplePizzaBiS Yes, great Devs made it a fun possibility. It proves that intentionally creating different paths for players to find makes traversal part of the fun in games.

This man needs to stop playing Diablo.. He sounds so depressed when he plays Diablo for so long and wouldn’t anyone? Now look at this guy look how happy and goofy he is genuinely enjoying himself.
Edit- Diablo may of made you but you don’t need to make Diablo
Strange. This game depresses me because over the years, everyone always told how hard Souls games were, how it's "a gamer's rite of passage or some shi..." and when I finally played ER, DS123 and some clones like Code Vein or whatever that Star Wars Souls game is called, none of them were even hard. Didn't look anything up so I have no clue about broken or meta builds. I just Sword and Boarded in every game that allowed it. It's funny because everyone kept telling me how trash shields are for some of these games yet these are the same people that need, multiple upon multiple tries, rolling around like ADHD kids trying to avoid damage, while I just usually first try 90% of the game, standing still. 😂
I'm not pro, I can't play all day, but I shouldn't have to stay level 1 on NG+ 100 to get some sort of challenge. I don't get it, I watch people spend hours stuck on one boss but when I finally get there, it's a first try? Yeah, bosses like Malenia were challenging but that's one boss out of hundreds (counting dungeon bosses.) The whole game should be Malenia difficulty from the start...
Even when exploring Limgrave when I first started and getting transported to areas far beyond my level without knowing, didn't really do much because I could still kill the enemies and get way more runes than I should at the time, making the game even easier.
So yeah. When I play ER, I have Raxx's Diablo face. Specifically, his D4 post launch face.

@@KamikaziiKidd I'd like to suggest you try Elden Ring Reforged mod on the hardest difficulty (master mode). It adds some mechanics while not being too over the top (keeping vanilla feel). Perfectly timing blocks and even attacks is more rewarding, all monsters and bosses have more noticeable resistances to damage types and most boss encounters have been reworked in some way (moveset, aggressiveness, there are also entirely new bosses). Many more changes, you can check their wiki.
Master mode difficulty will just scale up enemy HP and damage.
They also updated to be compatible with the DLC Update already (DLC is not accessible in the mod rn tho).
But yeah you're right. Souls games are not as hard as they are made out to be. They just punish impatient players who ignore mechanics. So your typical gamer who can get away with it in most other games is suddenly getting punished here. The fact that there are so many variations of challenge runs out there should already tell you it's not insanely hard :)
