Cells balancing is a key function of the BMS add to that preventing overcharging or over-discharging of your battery cells and there are many features could be based on your BMS choice. The answer simply is yes it’s necessary
Nice video, not sure what happened at the end, obviously you used 10a discharge wires for a 100a bms which was a bit silly, but what shorted out? Also you should have a probe each side of the slot in the nickel to spot weld - they are there to force the current through the battery(not just the nickel)
Me too not sure what’s happened 😅. Anyway, I used a low gauge cable and I replace it with better one in an enhancement video for the same project. Thanks for your feedback
What I can imagine is, he is holding that bzel with negative and positive terminals outside. negative terminal is already connected and is pointing downwards while he is trying to route cable through the positive terminal. I guess he touched with negative terminal a positively charged place on naked BMS.
Lithium advantage in storage capacity. its important to concern to choose the right cells with specs like discharge rate and the real capacity based on your application
Without knowing your cells capacity and discharge rate and the BMS used additionally to the inverter and how many hours your load required to work i cant answer you even 200w is considered as small amount
Repairing lithium battery pack could be done by replacing the cells with new. There’s many tricks to refurbish/getting them alive back lithium cells but be careful as that’s risky
I agree with you, insulation paper used to isolate the nickel strips, Thanks for correcting me. Batteries and bms both are Chinese and need to do test on your own as I mentioned in the video. Anyway it’s working and FYI this battery around 1600mah only 😄
Is it necessary to add balance charging or can i just use standard 12v charger with the positive and negative poles

or, the other way around. It is actually negative terminal he is connecting.
I guess so that’s what’s happened 😄 we must be careful when dealing with batteries
@@abdelbary8 true. Very nice video tho. I will use it to make my own battery to power up my sons e-quad. thanks!
Hi, I would like to make a battery pack for UPS with 18650 3000mah BMS 60A 3S 6P batteries, what do you think?
Lithium advantage in storage capacity. its important to concern to choose the right cells with specs like discharge rate and the real capacity based on your application
Can I ask why u ditch the first bms? What is the difference between the two?
The first bms is 60a. The used one is 100a. Both works with this battery pack size
is batry ko solar charg controler se charge kar sakte hain 2o ahm controlar hai
yes you can charge it as long you gives the required voltage for charging
!! А можно эту сборку использовать не в бесперебойнике а с инвертером, если понадобится?
As long the used cells discharge rate and capacity are capable for your application it will be suitable. Additionally to the used bms too
@@abdelbary8 !!! Will it withstand a 220v 200w load? And how long?
Without knowing your cells capacity and discharge rate and the BMS used additionally to the inverter and how many hours your load required to work i cant answer you even 200w is considered as small amount
@@abdelbary8 !!! Assembly - 21x18650-7A, BMS 25A. How long will it work at 220V 200W?
Ye spot welding kaha pe milti hai
Bangood, Aliexpress, Temu or Amazon
Will that 3S 40A board work with 21700, 26650, and 32650 batteries?
It will work as they are lithium ion batteries within the board max current
@@abdelbary8 That is what I thought. Thanks for confirming that.
Can you fix my battery pack? I have a couple bad cells

How to charge? What kind of charger to use? Please help
You can use either 12.6v adaptor or multi cell lithium 3s usb type c board
Please give me a link for the charger

Ye betteri kahha milegi
for me I got from the local market ... based on the capacity test its ok with my usage. find yours on eBay, aliexpress, amazon etc.
Amazing
18650 5000mah batteries 😁😁 3S 7P with 100A BMS 😅😅 insulation paper on side🤣🤣. You did the all wrong things
I agree with you, insulation paper used to isolate the nickel strips, Thanks for correcting me. Batteries and bms both are Chinese and need to do test on your own as I mentioned in the video. Anyway it’s working and FYI this battery around 1600mah only 😄
Kalo perbandingan kuat aki apa batre yang ini
Use your choice ... based on capacity test.
