    Awesome project as always and looks neat and tidy, but only problem is that you wouldn't be able to use half of the capacity 0%-50%, because this inverter is designed for lead acid 12v battery voltages. Specs for this inverter is 11V - 14V. 3S lithium-ion has 9V - 12.6V. Voltage ranges for Lead 12V == 3.5S Li-Ion. As i was building same powerstation i had same problem, the only solution is to use 7S li-ion battery and 24V inverter designed for 24V lead acid battery voltages ( 20V - 30V) and 7S lithium-ion is 21V - 29,4V, which perfectly fits at the voltage range, i know because i already made one myself :)
    Or you will be able to use full capacity with this configuration if your inverter doesn't have any low voltage protection (11V). Then it will not turn off until BMS low voltage would kick in at 9V.
    Or if you want to use this inverter (which has low voltage protection) other solution is to use 4S Lifepo4 ( 10V - 13.6V ), which basically fits right to 12v lead voltages.

      Question is what's it used for because most things that need portability require longer run time than this 24ah could possibly output which kinda makes it pointless and get rid of the stupid inverter and get proper devices that run on battery eg 12v camping stuff and usb 5v devices only makes sense using 110 or 240v at home 😂

      Ist wohl eher für den Einfachen Outdoor Freizeitbereich gemacht. Die Kapazität der 18650er Zellen ist ja noch verbesserbar. Zu dem kommt das die selber Herstellung um einiges günstiger ist als zu den TOP kaufbaren die auch einen größeren Nutzbereich abdecken können. Jedoch zu sehr Hohen Preisen die meist für die Akku Leistung meiner Meinung nach zu Hoch sind. Diese Bauart wäre auch meine erste Wahl, nur mit mehr Wiederverwerteten Bauteilen und Optimierten Akku Pack für die gewünschten Anwendungen.

      It's actually good this way. The inverter will shut down before it discharges the battery pack to unsafe levels.

    Nice! Will the batteries/BMS get hot? Some vent holes maybe and rubber feet to keep the bottom scratch-free :)

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  11 месяцев назад +7

      The batteries won't get hot because they are 12P and can supply over 120A BMS does get a little hot but not much.
      Yes, you are right, I should also add pads to the bottom.🙂

    I did this setup with a 96ah super beast pack converted to 12v and put in a battery box then added a 2000watt inverter to the top, thong pushes some power!

    your battery pack build was mesmerizing! is that an 800W peak 400W continuous inverter? Excellent build.

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you very much for your kind words. According to specifications, 400W continuous and 800W peak power, but it can actually support up to 300~350W Max.

    Could you have lower volts and us a dc to dc buck boost convertor or higher voltage and a dc buck converter to lower the voltage.
    I ask as when i was on site i needed 19v for my laptop and rather then use an invertor i found the buck converters use less electricity but i shppose its down to the watts. My mackbook was 75w o had a 150w and it still got pretty warm so always try go higher if poss and improve the heat dispersment. Xxx

    Hello, would a converter like this be able to supply about 150W of lighting at 220V?

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  11 месяцев назад +3

      I measured it and it can actually supply up to 350W, but at 350W power it starts to heat up a bit. But 150W won't be a problem🙂
