I live in Minnesota but visit Terry Black's 2 - 3 times a year. I love Terry Black's. Like I told Jeremy at Windy City Smokeout last year, Terry Black's is the BEST BBQ in Austin because:
    1. They rarely sell out. You're going to get what you're looking for.
    2. They do Beef Ribs 7 days a week. Not only on Weekends like most Austin BBQ places.
    3. They food is the most consistent. I've NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL at Terry Black;s. I can't say that with other Austin BBQ joints.
    4. The wait is usually quick.
This is why I tell anyone looking to experience Texas BBQ for the first time, skip Franklin's and go to Terry Black's.

As an Asian American, when people say Western or American food is "bland", I always point them to Texas brisket or Popeye's fried chicken. If you've had the spices and seasonings of these food, there's no way you'd ever call American food bland. Jeremy, if you are ever in the northeastern area of Pennsylvania there is a BBQ place you need to try. Its called Joe Boscos Authentic Smokehouse BBQ, in Deleware water gap Pennsylvania. I know Pennsylvania is not known for great BBQ but these people really take pride in bringing some of the best styles of BBQ to the Pocono Mountains! They really do it right! They do Texas style brisket, really good pulled pork, really good ribs and sausage. The only thing they dont have are beef ribs because here in Pennsylvania the price for them is just outrageous. The sides are some of the best ive had at any BBQ place and ive eaten at all of the major names. I think you would like it enough to make a video of them and it would be interesting because its Pennsylvania... Come on.. most Pennsylvanians idea of BBQ is hotdogs and hamburgers! God bless! If your travels ever bring you to this area, you definitely wouldnt be disappointed.

My favorite BBQ in Austin area is Valentina's. The brisket tacos are fantastic. Everytime I'm in Austin I have to go.

Terry Black's is really good. I haven't been to Franklin but to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time TBs for the win!

Love this video! I am from Texas but live in Louisville right now! I’ve been to terry blacks and it’s as incredible as you say. Just got my own offset smoker up here and going to start getting back into smoking!

Pro tip: Get there when it opens (10:30am) to completely avoid the lines. You'll be eating lunch an hour early, but no lines 😀
