@@BrittneeAlexus, I’m not a hairdresser but am trying to figure out how to cut my own fine curly above the shoulder length hair because hairdressers keep chopping into it too much. Have you seen the pigtail cut by Manes by Mell? Is that a 90 degree angle cut on the sides but not on the rest of the head? Is there a way to get a heavy perimeter but 90 degree cut above the ears? I like rounded sides but don’t like the back very layered because the back jumps up more, and I like the bottom to be heavy since my hair is fine, but I like the bottom to have a subtle curve. I think I like blunt layers.

I've been going to Aveda Cosmetology school since November and they only show us this for one hour, and have us watch a video on our ipads, and then a video prior to the test. I have learned more from your videos than I have in school thus far. I am in the intro phase and the teachers have to follow a lesson plan run by Aveda. I just wish they would teach exactly like you do. Please keep these coming as I don't see enough of them on youtube yet.

Hi I just found you here on and I’m so happy. I’ve watched a number of your earlier videos and your amazing. So maybe you can advise me what to do with extensions. I’ve checked so many places on line and can’t find the extensions which I thought would be simple but noooo. I can’t find anything. I want a silver gray, about 14” to 16” with loose curls and human hair. I can’t spend a lot. When I went to pickup the color at Sallys they didn’t have a “silver grey” so she said I could use Chi ionic in the color #91 light Irideiscent blond and or Ion permanent Brights in Titanium Intensive Shine, ColorTitanium. I’m concerned about it not looking silver grey. My hair is very blond and grey. What do you think?
