Thank you Dr. Girnita for this video. And thank you Dr. Cush for joining. I don’t have RA, I have Sjogren’s. I was in Texas from 2012-2014 and you were my doctor Dr. Cush. My favorite rheumatologist here in Atlanta recommended you before I moved out there. When I moved back, I went straight back to him. It’s heck trying to find a rheumatologist! So I’m glad you addressed it. My rheumatologist decided to retire about 2 years ago and I was forced to find someone new. All the rheumatologists with good reputations in Atlanta are heading toward their retirement years, so that ruled out any doctor I wanted. The newer doctors just aren’t up to snuff. I ended up choosing a doctor at Emory. They have several rheumatologists, so I figured if the first person wasn’t a good fit, I’d have others to choose. Fortunately, she knows her stuff and I like her. Wish she’d loosen up a bit. Then again, I used to get a hug before leaving my retired rheumatologist (Dr. Gary Myerson), I don’t anticipate many other doctors doing that.

I don't drink, don't smoke, I'm a whole food plant based vegan, I consume no sugar or oil, I workout 5 days a week, and I do cardio. I still got RA. I also have no family history.

Are there “stages” in RA? If so, can you cover those “stages” in your next video? Please. My RA Dr. just told me she couldn’t help me. She wants me to see a “pain specialist “. How does a RA Dr. recommend this on only the 3rd visit? In the process of finding a new RA Dr. now. So confused and in so much pain.

I was diagnosed 2004 with RA /fibro/ I'm still not horribly crippled. I do have tremendous chronic pain. I eat raw ginger & turmeric daily. Garlic or fish oil. Onions. And I have advanced Osteoporosis (literally off the written chart) I was told "nothing I can do for you" so..as long as I keep these + ashwagandha, astaxanthin, D3, B-comp (all food based) organic. I'm 65. I weigh 109 .
*dr. Diana I will be seeing if my insurance will let my see you. It looks like I have either ms/Lupus/ Sjogren. I am controlling seizures with cbd. Nothing else has wkd. Thank you. Have a blessed day 🙏🏼 ✨️ 💛 I watch ALL OF your videos!

I was 14 years old when I first got a swollen finger… within months my knees began to hurt. By the time I was in my late teens- early twenties it was in my wrists and toes.I had several synovectomies and only prednisone works. I quit smoking at 30 and my raging arthritis stopped. It does rear its ugly head, but it’s not nearly as destructive. I know the smoking did it. No family history.
