I searched for the best choir to sing this ,PRAISE God for you all to sing to Him our Holy father and His HOLY son JESUS CHRIST the RIGHTEOUS. Thank you so beautiful ❤❤❤
This is one of my all time favorite hymns, The Organ intro into the hymn is so pleasing on the ears and on the soul, I have to say that String celestes and a french horn stop pair so nicely together.
Well done First-Plymouth Church, this is my favorite hymn. I believe that the reverence, heartfelt praise, and humility that I believe the original author(s) of this hymn intended came through in this rendition. Again well done! AMEN!
this is so beautiful. i want this played and sung at my wedding one day as a congregational hymn, along with "Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer" and “Praise, My Soul, The King of Heaven”
Might I use this lovely recording in an online service of the United Reformed Church here in the UK? We have the requisite licences and would, of course, credit you in the order of service. Many thanks, Andy Braunston
10 years later to the day, and I'm practicing this for choir this Sunday. What a classic!

long live the organ
"If there be here any Christians, let them pray for me but the prayers of heretics I will not have."
St. John Oglivie, Scottish priest
just beautiful!
Amazing Organ.
This is to all denominations: If Psalm 18:1 and/or Matthew 22:35-40 is your Scripture(s) of the Day, this is a good hymn to compliment them.
【求作我遠象】
詩集:頌主聖詩,417
1.求作我遠象,我心中主宰;萬事皆虛空,除我主以外。
主是我晝夜最美思想,清醒或睡眠恩光仍照亮。
2.求作我智慧,我心中真道;容我常就主,蒙主親引導;
主你是我父偉大慈愛,求住我心中與我合為一。
3.不羨慕財富和空虛稱讚,主是我現在和永遠嗣產;
主在我心中永居首位,天上大君王才是最珍貴。
4.天上大君王,天上大輝煌,得勝的喜樂,是我所渴望;
我心之中心南針是賴,仍作我遠象,管理的主宰。
It's me again. You can add Matthew 14:22-33 to my previous post.

Is it Anglican Church ?
United Church of Christ
Why did they mimic all of our Catholic practices?
@@timothyfreeman97 perhaps because not all Roman practices are evil. they are, after all trying to mimic Christianity.
Does it matter what denomination it is. Those of us who believe in The Holy Trinity and follow Jesus are all one worldwide church!
It might be Brethren originally as many were Plymouth Brethren originally.
