Bellara's heart to heart with Rook made me cry, too. I fully expected that kind of backstory, but that conversation was so raw and beautifully delivered. 🥺 It also hit me like a double whammy because I couldn't help but draw a perfect parallel between her guilt and Solas'.
Solas also used 'It' for his spirit friend in Inquisition! So....idk xD I don't think the spirits mind though. They don't have genders, and I guess their personhood is kinda up for debate.
I was so concerned when the Veil Jumpers said “we don’t have to check it every time”, like what, you guys are working with dangerous relics, of course you need to calibrate or check it every single time! Imagine flying a plane and one of the worker be like “nah it will be fine, I don’t have to check the plane this time” 😂😂😂
You can find them in chest scattered around the world and buy them in guild shops! And I also believe some of them are given to you after completing some quests, but don't quote me thete😅
