My clamps were worn out so i was not able to tension above 40 lbs, ever since i enjoy full bed poly, learned to control the ball at that tension, ton of power, it is like a super comfortable shoe never can wear a tough dress shoe again.

If Frances Tiafoe can play with 19kg then we can play with 17 or 18.
If you can't control the ball because of tension then you should work on technique and topspin. I am 4.0 NTRP and I use Pure Aero 2023 with MSV Swift at 19kg. Plenty of control and comfort.
I laugh when people need to string their rackets at 24kg or even higher because other wise they can't control the balL😂😂😂

It is personal reference, style of play and other factors. Some people play well with higher tension and vice versa. Higher tension does provide bit more control for power hitter thats why most pros are on the higher end

@@don9733 yeah but when you see dozens of people with wrist injuries and tennis elbows it's not a preference anymore
people should lower their string tension

@@cekinekshn higher tensions has nothing to do with injuries. How about perfecting your techniques? Use proper complete kinetic chain, stay relaxed let the racket doing most the work. Improper technique leads to injuries not high tension.
