Sweet little Chicken. She had a rough start in her life, but she's in awesome hands now. Her happy dance's say it all! Thank you for rescuing her and giving her the love & care she deserves!
Little sweetie might not have all his feather but he is the most intelligent bird I ever seen and happy I notice him dancing he is doing moves and he is really into the music when he hear it❤❤❤❤❤❤😅
Dearest Michelle and Chicken....you have made such a crack in my heart that love is pouring out for you and your entire household...thank you so very very much for reaching out to shelter and protect her and sharing it with an old biddy like me❤❤❤
Gosh, that is so heartbreaking to see. I've never seen such a naked bird before. I'm glad to see she was able to trust this lady and find some happiness ❤
Looks like they're too far gone. Maybe some will, but she'll never fly. It's heartbreaking, but at least she's genuinely happy with such an awesome family! ❤️
Is this a disease, or that thing that happens when birds left alone with no attention and rip out all their feathers that they can reach? Looks to me like she has been pulling them out since the head is so nice.
@@volvo09 Parrots are one of the most abused animals out there. Animals that in nature have multiple companions and the jungle to themselves are stuck in a small cage and can live for decades in captivity (60+ years!). You should play with one for four hours a day and they make loud noises. Many people get annoyed with this and stop giving them attention. Of course the poor birds then pluck their feathers out. Thankfully dogs or cats don't live as long as parrots do.
@@volvo09 It can be caused by either disease or stress, pulling, yeah. I agree, the fact that she still has a fully feathered head suggests she was just going crazy with loneliness and boredom in that basement.
She’s such a sweetheart. It’s obvious that she’s been terribly abused and hurt in her life, the total plucking is an big indicator that she’s afraid and stressed. It’s going to take a long time to bring her out, but you can see that she has so much love inside her and has a HUGE personality. She’s going to be so awesome once she’s healed and isn’t afraid to show who she really is.
@@kebokev7519 that depends on how many times she’s plucked them. They will grow back unless she’s plucked herself so often that she’s damaged the follicles. My friend took one in that was so severely stressed that she had destroyed them and they never grew back.
Chicken is adorable,so full of life. She is special. The feathers don't maker her who she is, but her happy spirit does. Enjoy your loving mother Chicken and keep dancing up a storm.🥰🥰🥰
Poor thing. The amount of stress and trauma she endured to pluck majority of her own feathers, must have been severe. Happy to see she found someone that truly loved her and she gave love and trust back in return.
I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again. Watching someone help their flightless bird to “fly” has to be one of the sweetest things I think an owner can do for such a bird. Really glad this is now becoming a trend. 🥰👍 Been a fan of Chicken for some time now. She’s so adorable with such a sweet personality. Whilst it distresses me seeing anything that starts out as broken, I love it when the kindness & commitment of someone pulls anything out of the depths of despair into the light of happiness. Gives us all hope. ♥️🙏
This 🐦🕊️ is way too much!! Who would have known that these birds have a dancing bug in them!! How fascinating. You can't get any better than this!! He just loves life!!😊😊
Oh I just loved this so much - it really took me back to my rescue of Emmy a temporarily featherless Senegal parrot. I was in tears (in a good way). Thank you. This lady seems to have an avian heaven - may there be many more!
Thank you for sharing. I volunteered in a bird sanctuary where so many birds were surrendered because someone did not want to or could not take care of them. Birds require a lot more commitment than even a dog or cat because they live longer, and their behavior ir not what most humans are used to in a dog or cat. But they do deserve their lives. Please note, for humans who eat chickens or turkeys, they are also birds.
Over one million birds are killed every year from pesticides to protect vegetables for vegans. In Australia 40,000 ducks are slaughtered every year to protect the rice. Just FYI for Vegans there's few things more brutal and lethal for birds than a vegan lifestyle In fact 25x the amount of animals are killed in wheat farming than beef. And to use the soil for vegetables every living creature in the soil is killed. So for human vegans if you don't know, just because something isn't a barnyard mammal doesn't mean it's not an animal. When I think of the countless minutes vegans spent on Dodo videos saying silly condescending or hypocritical things it makes me sad they couldn't spare a couple to learn about how cruel their lifestyle is

I first saw 👀 chicken about 6 months ago on RUclips just on another channel and I Instantly fell I'm love ❤️, what a beautiful full of life bird and this is such a happy story
Being a bird mom for 24 years I can appreciate saving the life of this sweet baby Chicken no matter what she looks. She is so cute. Way to go Chicken, go for it🥰💗💕💞😍 enjoy your new life❤
The way she went from being nervous & scared to blossoming into a squaking, dancing diva was just amazing! Bless you for saving this special lil sweetheart. You are definitely one of a kind Chicken! 😙❤🐥
Happy little Chicken. We have three of the six known species of Corella here in Australia, they're almost ear-piercingly loud when you come across a huge flock of them in the wild. Regardless, they are still very loud, even hand-reared/aviary bred. So if you're thinking of adopting one, just be prepared, just about all cockatoos are loud squwakers, super smart and cheeky. They need a lot of care and attention, or they could end up self-harming themselves, like plucking out their feathers. And they don't always grow back. (Various mites and the ilk can also cause damage to their plumage and result in a loss of feathers.)
That is the cutest, most precious video I have ever seen. You can literally not just see how happy the bird is, but I can feel it. She's precious!! 💞 and people think animals are dumb, their smarter than humans, and have a more caring heart ❤️ and thank you for taking her in and giving her her happiness that she never had. 🙏 😊
Oh man what a resilient bird! Poor girl's feet are fckd! Looks like her days of neglect were spent living on a single dowel perch too small for her! It must've been so painful. SO AWESOME she was SAVED!
Chicken is adorable!!! Reminds me of Griffi the dancing cockatoo who was much-loved by me & many other YT viewers. Both dancing their way into our hearts ❤ RIP Griffi! Hope you're still dancing in heaven
