One of the greatest and biggest influences on my musical life. Yes I'm an heavy metal musician, yet the undeniable strength of talent, lyrically , instrumentally, composition, business sense, artistic control and overall body of work due to a flawless work ethic.... few humans come close to him. I was privileged to see him on his last tour, just 8 weeks before he passed. No matter what you do in life, take some perspective from Prince.

The song is a celebration of the Divine Feminine… so typical of Prince because he loves women for their divine essence. In the cosmos, Venus is the Divine Feminine Goddess and Mars is the Divine Masculine counterpart. Venus appears like the brightest star on the night sky, as a brilliant diamond. I think this is why he mentions Mars and the stars. Interestingly, Mars and Venus have just come together this month in the constellation of Leo. I think it’s perfect timing for you to pick this song!

On sheer vocal range and ability, Meatloaf has to be there as a member of the four octave club -- though as a heldentenor his range covered a different space than Freddie or Prince. But if you're looking for visceral emotive vocals, he's up there. Other 4 octave male singers are Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney, Marilyn Manson, and the gone but never forgotten Chris Cornell. Here's Chris covering a Prince song in his unique way... ruclips.net/video/IuUDRU9-HRk/видео.html

He tended to stay up in that falsetto, but he could dig waaaay down into the bass notes when he wanted. You haven’t started you trail of appreciation of the flawless talent of this genius. If you catch the documentaries on Prince and his recording sessions by engineers present when he recorded his music having written the music and lyrics, laid down all tracks playing bass, guitar, drums, programmed the Linn drum machine. The engineers merely were extra hands who were told what to do and not to touch or change anything. He needed a Harp at 2 am and a session player came but could not satisfy what he was hearing in his head, so she left and they got a Harp for him. When it arrived he strummed the strings, said record and played the music for his recording, one take. You need to listen to the experiences of his engineers at Sunset Sound, before he built Paisley Park. Peggy McCreary was 7 years with him, Susan Rogers was 5 years with him and during Purple Rain, Z Rivkin was many years with him. You will be in awe when you understand the musical genius he was.

The Late Prince and late Michael Jackson are the true gems in our music history. Mj is the king of pop, and music has Prince. His legacy lives on.

You should react to his first hit “Wanna Be Your Lover” since you have reacted to the last Prince hit.

If I had to pick a single pop song, it would probably be this 👌👌

Yeah Prince is always amazing. I like the joke how prince repopulated the world cause so many babies were conceived to his music. My favorites... Seven, darling Nikki, I mean can you pick a favorite Prince song?

A couple that have meaningful lyrics are Dear Mr Man and Dreamer for some funk try Willing and Able, a James Brown kinda feel. It won’t be long b4 U go down the Prince rabbit hole. With Prince U always have to look beneath the surface. Well except maybe for the song Johnny lol.
