The fact that the bear seems to represent a childhood that was literally taken from the mother at a young age is sad, but when the mother gave her daughter her own bear that was in much better condition it showed how the mom was going to give her daughter a better childhood
@King what the fuck? Are you saying that getting an arranged marriage is better? You do know that these kids are young and barely know the meaning of marriage right? And it’s not just marriage and housing, you have to deal with their shit, do all the housework, and most likely get abused. I really don’t know what the “sweet deal” you see here is. Marriage isn’t fucking important when everything you have you hate. And if you’re a man you most definitely should not be talking.
I hate when people say it's a culture thing so we should respect it. Culture can change over the years and should change when it involves harming others especially children.

What about pregnant European girls at the age of 11 and 12 from her boy friend?. Why do 100,000 children disappear every year in Europe?
Lmao whether it's a boy or a girl the child will leave the parents in the end. Do they still have the expectations that the first born son will live with them to take care of them? People say that child at 11 years old get married off because they get their period so it’s a sign that they are ready for pregnancy. No their not. Yes in the mental sens they’re not ready at all but also in the physical sense. There are girls who lost their womb due to a young pregnancy, people younger than 20 who became very sick, who even died because while the logic was there, it wouldn’t work in reality. My mother for example got a severe chronic injury in her back that’ll never heal by giving birth to me, and she was 22 or 23 so imagine a girl of 14. This is straight up abuse. Not only are they making a child work, they’re also exploiting her organs, they’re destroying her health for selfish purposes. Not to say its clearly pedophelia, especially if the girl marries a man who can be her father. Why do they treat woman and man differently? I want to ask the parents, so your son is your child but your daughter is not? They all came in this world the same way, why do you treat your daughter like a thing and your son like human? If you don’t consider every one of your child a treasure, you shouldn’t even be allowed to get children.

Yes also in rural areas some parents would've wedded their children before they even turn 18? Which is illegal because our consent and legal age of marriage is when they're 19. Mostly because family's struggling economically and have so many children so it's the easiest way to get rid of them especially the daughters. Not only that some people that's not from rural areas or because their economic reason are also glorifying underage marriage, think that it's completely normal.
Why only daughter? Why not sons?? Daughter earns more than sons... I am lucky to have an open minded family.. They are very nice and has expectations from me and I will fulfil it... But the question arise why not men are sold?? This discrimination is in india too.... We should have nice thinking about girls........
I can only imagine her family congratulating her and her just wondering, “what’s going on?” Like my eyes widened when I read, “At 14, she had her first child” like FUCKING EXCUSE ME??? My heart breaks for her. I can’t imagine the pain that would bring.
It breaks my heart to see girls from the ages of like 9-13 getting married at such a young age. Little girls that range around that age should be going to school, doing their homework, and just getting their education in general. That should only be their priority/job, not getting married off to creepy old men who are in their mid 30's and forced to work for them like a housewife. It saddens me that these young girls don't even get a say in where their life goes, it's just done for them weather they like it or not. Pedophilia is NOT a cultural thing. I pray for the girls going through this..
my mother was 16 and my father was 24 when they got married forcefully by their families and i was born when my mother was 18..... so it's really sad that i wasn't able to do anything for them, but they are trying their best to give me everything i deserve and they are also trying hard so that whatever happened to them, doesn't happened to me.
My family's from Nepal. Luckily, a good number of my past generations managed to avoid that fate, but a lot of their friends didn't. It's just the same there. My mom started a non profit organization named AIM International to build shelters like the one mentioned in the video so that young girls like Mina can get a second chance.
@??? ??? hmmm actually you know for us it's cruel but for them it was everything even my mom ..... Even though she wasn't a child when she got married but still the mindset was there ..... I think it depends on generations
@@pheonix9821 it doesn't depend on generations, more so their mindsets and how they think, because it's not the generations that did this, it was their mindsets
How old is your grandma now exactly? is she still alive? Nowadays in America you have to be over 18 to get married. 100 years ago, it was okay to get married at 11 but it was also okay to make fun of people in cartoons and stuff. we're a different society now.
@@jocelynecupcake what does my grandma have to do with this? Also what I meant was its the fact that back in the day their mindsets were made to think that child marriages were okay, it was a different society because people thought differently about things, people weren't born thinking that child marriage was okay, it was learned, and it was always okay to make fun of cartoons, I don't understand what you meant to say with that

It's heartbreaking to know that this still happens in a lot of places today. When I was younger (8-10) my grandmother would always tell me how kids my age in rural China would get married and have kids. How they were working and running errands while I was not. I never took her seriously and now I'm grateful for being this privileged.

my grandma was only 10year when she migrate from Hindustan to Pakistan with my grandfather but both they spent happy life .. but we known that every family is not perfect... now a day education is necessary for women not for their future home but also their self-respect
My grandparents story is similar, my grandmother (she was 12) migrated to Pakistan after marrying my grandfather (he was 30) and had my eldest aunt at the age of 14 🥺
My great grandmother married at 14 years old, and my family normalizes extreme age gaps, such as my cousin who was dating a 30 year old man when she was underaged and he waited to make it official when she turned 18, and they are now married. There is something very wrong about having to WAIT for your partner to be of age to declare yourself to them, as a fully grown 30 year old ADULT. This is not common in our culture whatsoever btw
@@robthebob4586 Its wrong bc she needed to wait to her 18 birthday to make it official, so that means that they were dating before. It just wrong when f.e. a 15 y.o. and a 30 y.o. are dating I mean one of them is still in school and in puperty and the other one is a full grown up adult with a job. I think huge age gaps are okay but only when they are dating when f.e. one is 25 and the other one is 40 bc both are adult.
@@unde4d.vampirSo why exactly is it still wrong, all these metrics you have given such as school and job are all subjective and arbitrary. If it was that wrong then our bodies wouldn’t have been built for it. This 18th birthday is a just a government age which they decided on less than a 100 years ago when humanity had been accepted this as something normal for thousands of years. What I do agree with you on is that they shouldn’t date, they should go ahead and make it official by getting married. That offers stability vs dating at any age which doesn’t.
@@robthebob4586 What do you mean with " our bodies wouldn’t have been built for it"? 100-1000 years ago the people dind´t get that old but it wasn´t normal (were I live) that a 15 y.o. and a 30 y.o. were marrying. They were marrying young but both genders f.e. my grandparents married with 17&18 years thy were both young and had no idea what to do in a marriage. And just bc humanity had been accepted that doesn´t mean that is was right and normal. I mean, according to this logic, you can repeat anything that happened in the past because people accepted it, e.g. B. 500 years ago "witches" were burned in (my continent) and people accepted it for about 300 years, so we can reintroduce it because people had accepted it for several hundred years. Not everything that happend in the past for more than 100 years was right
It usually happens. My neighbors were having a tradition of having their kids married when they attain puberty. It goes the same for both boys and girls. One day my mother appointed a maid at our house and we asked for her age. We were totally surprised that she was 8 when she got engaged with someone and than got married at the age of 12. She was 14 when she carried a baby in her womb and now she was expecting again. My mother taught her about the abnormalities of our society and took a promise from her that she will break the taboo and educate her daughter.
It’s crazy how life-altering these things are. My grandma got married at 18 so she wasn’t underage, but she knew my grandfather for only a couple weeks before the marriage and then BOOM, she spends every day of the rest of her life with him. & even at 19 she really struggled with being a mom, I can only imagine what a 14 year old would feel - this is so sad!
Yes you are right. As a boy, I can understand that how curel are these boys which think them as the most powerful and they forget to respect women. Women is Shakti (Power) and without Shakti this world is useless. If our mothers are not there in our life no one will be there and no one can survive. Feel proud to be a girl. Goddess Durga is also Shakti and killed the demon Mahishasura, Goddess Kali killed Chanda and Munda., Raktabeeja, Shumbha and Nishumbha. Life is useless without a mother. Brothers can't take care of their siblings as compared to sisters. Even after criticising Lordess Annapurna (Goddess who fulfilles the food) Lord Shiva had to beg in front of Lorddess Annapurna to get food. If you will read Devi Mahatmyam or Devi Saptashati you will know that women is the real Shakti not the men. Shaktas (Follower of Shakti, Denomination of Hinduism), are the devotees of Shaktim
Mahishasura got boon from Brahma (Supreme God of Hinduism) as Brahma got pleased by Mahishasura's deep meditation. He wanted to be immortal. Lord Brahma booned him and said, 'Neither a Lord or Man can kill you). When the devtaas in heaven asked Lord Brahma that why did he give that boon then he said, 'He will die in the hands of women'. The devtas pleased Adi Shakti Devi Durga and she killed Mahishasura. From that time onwards, she is known as Mahishasuramardini (The Lady who killed Mahishasura). Maa Kali also an avatar of Shakti killed the Raktabeeja, a demon who got the boon that when even a single drop of blood falls on the land, thousands of Raktabeeja will born. Maa Kali killed raktabeeja and drank his whole blood without falling a single drop of blood. Maa kali is Shmashan Charini. She notifies a person that she'll also take care of his son even after his child's death and waits for them in cremation ground. Mata Sarswati, Goddess of Knowledge, Mata Laxmi who is the Goddess of Wealth are the avatars of Shakti.
Okay, it may be a cultural thing, people can colour it anything they want, it doesn't hide the fact that it's paedophilia and child abuse. There's no excuse.
This isn't culture, some people are just immoral. It happens all over the world, from India and Pakistan to the US (where it's legal to get minors married with the consent of parents in some states...)
@@NA-yq4pe but minors want to get married no one marries them by force, I have bazillion stories from my country where two minors fall in love and want to get married so their parents have to consent for them. Why girls always have to suffer from alot of pain since from childhood .Why they are treated like a servant and like a pet . Why anyone is not understanding the girl the women or the sister of someone or their own whom they are treating like this has gave them birth
Men know they have to break girls down when they're young. If they waited until they were women, or their age, they would be too powerful to stop them.
My grandma "met" her first husband when she was 12, then as part of their marriage agreement she attended school 2 more years, then married a month after graduation. My mom had kids early on, so my grandma was raising me, my siblings, and her own kids. She refused to let my mother sell us into marriage, she demanded that all of us finish highschool, was extremely proud when everyone in my generation attended college (not all of us graduated), and before she died she was always telling all of her grandkids how proud and happy she was that we all were living lives that she had never even dreamed of hoping for and that all of us girls were dating/choosing who we marry.

I just hate child marrige. They does'nt want a wife for their son, instead they wanted a maid who would do all their work. Marrige is just an excuse for slavelry. This happens in india also. Every teenager should study, play and grow up. Not for this child marrige shit 😡😡.
I hate any type of child marriages
All child marriages are wrong. Not just this type.
Lol uhm??? All child marriage is wrong. What do you mean 'this type'?

@@captainngoose that was my typing mistake. Sorry for that.
This happens also in Indonesia, especially in poor families ("sell" their -still too young-daughters to have more money in return).
I'm pretty sure it's true as one myself. I've heard stories of people selling kids for marriage. 🔥🔥🔥
Yes also in rural areas some parents would've wedded their children before they even turn 18? Which is illegal because our consent and legal age of marriage is when they're 19. Mostly because family's struggling economically and have so many children so it's the easiest way to get rid of them especially the daughters. Not only that some people that's not from rural areas or because their economic reason are also glorifying underage marriage, think that it's completely normal.
remind me of my friends (poor woman) who married at 15 years old to 30 years old rich man (second wife)
Why only daughter? Why not sons?? Daughter earns more than sons... I am lucky to have an open minded family.. They are very nice and has expectations from me and I will fulfil it... But the question arise why not men are sold?? This discrimination is in india too.... We should have nice thinking about girls........
AND ALSO IN THE USA!
I can only imagine her family congratulating her and her just wondering, “what’s going on?” Like my eyes widened when I read, “At 14, she had her first child” like FUCKING EXCUSE ME??? My heart breaks for her. I can’t imagine the pain that would bring.
Yea exactly so disgusting

Idk why but I remember a certain orange man saying he'd be dating a girl in a few years, looking at a 14 year old.
Why is it wrong? He would have married before if it weren't for the law limiting it to only 18.
My mother taught her about the abnormalities of our society and took a promise from her that she will break the taboo and educate her daughter.
now am happy that I live in a very good family I am 10 and I got my periods 6 months ago......Yes I got early periods

This is one of the reasons I sometimes hate to be a girl.. Men treat us like their servants....
Be strong and fight against them who are against you.

They use culture as an excuse to do disgusting stuffs
Yea the person marrying the other person should be 100% willing not forced/coerced into it and/or being confused
Some cultural aspects are not cultural aspects: they're monstrosities. This needs to stop.
It's romantic not weird. I guess there are exceptions where parents force their kids to marry, abusing that law, which is effed up, but still that's a minority and these stories are usually romantic.
