Episode 131 - 8 different hand-held mics

A sort of challenge - 8 well known hand held mics. Is there a 'best' or a 'worst'. Do not get too excited, it's a blind test with the identification at the end. I could not tell which was which from the audio, so have a go.Warning! This is 20 minutes of your life you will not get back!
Mics include Shure, SM58, Beta 58, SM86 and a Beyer M69, plus Sennheiser 835, 855, 865 and 945.

On Beyer DT770 headphones I had a preference for microphone 3 as it sounded the best and my least favorite was microphone 2 as it had audible noise. I agree that there isn’t a lot in it but the near distance showcased clear differences in vocal quality and intelligibility. Thanks for taking the time to share!
