Episode 138 - Wireless microphones. Are cables really better?

I mentioned that the most expensive wireless system is nearly as good as a ten pound XLR-XLR cable. I got an email asking me to explain? I put Sennheiser 865 wireless version up against the cable version. I think there is a difference. What do you think?
